Thread: Citrus + salt + leather + woods?
Chevignon Brand for Men comes closest to this description, uniting more or less of all these four notes in one male scent
I'm imagining a fresh, crisp, briny fragrance in the Grey Vetiver-Sel de Vetiver-Erolfa territory. None of these have any leather though, to my nose.
Quiksilver for men...
But there is no leather in it, though :/
This is more like an average scent, nothing spetacular...
On most on line fragrance sites, however I bought my bottles in regular retail, before this store disbanded, was sold/merged etc.
I get a salty, leathery, woody drydown from Bvlgari Aqva. But I dislike the aquatic/pool impression. So I kind of look for the same thing in a citrus eau de cologne style fragrance...
Seriously, though, I thought I would have no answer for this. But on my arm as I'm typing is Tilda Swinton Like This. The salt and the leather are definitely delivering. There is a touch of citrus in the opening. The immortelle has a very slight dry woodiness, but this is probably the one area where it might not live up to everything you're looking for.
JAR should be on top of this anytime soon.
I'm also thinking about the general direction of Sel de vetiver. Also Eau sauvage cuir fraicheur (though there's no salt, really).
Possibly Chanel Cuir de Russie.
Cuir Pleine Fleur, if you sprinkle some salt over it afterwards.
Kurt smells like Teen Spirit
Minus the leather. Sel Marin Heeleys

If it is fine that the salt is from human origin (sweat) I'd say Eau d'Hermes.
