Default Ralph Lauren socks,, yes really, socks

Ok, let me start with this. Ralph Lauren is one of my favorite designers and mainly where I shop for most of my shirts etc.
I was in the store yesterday and thought hey, those look like cool socks. I thought, my wife is always complaining about me never buying enough socks, perhaps I should buy these. Then I thought, well lets just wait and see what she says first.
I went home and later told her I had found these great quality socks from RL. She asked how much and was shocked at the 10 pounds for 1 pair. She asked is that for a pair? I replied, well if you mean a sock for each foot then yes it could be considered a pair.
She is not against me buying them, she just thinks 10 pounds is a horrendous price for 1 pair of socks.

Would you agree with my wife? or would you buy them?

Considering the overall quality of RL socks, they are greatly overpriced at 10 pounds a pair

I think they're sold at a fair price for their quality.

Too much IMO. But if you like and enjoy them, then that is all that matters.

Obviously too much, unless you own a donkey that shits gold.

Since I had RL clothes before, though NOT socks, but shirts, trousers, I might consider owning them

I am sure they would appear to be so much more...comfortable, better fitting, longer lasting, crowd pleasing and perhaps soul satisfying. To hell with the price. Go for them.

Good god.. is this for real??

Would have to be insane to pay that for socks. I think 10 quid is stretching it.

They fit well, the quality is satisfactory, and I don't mind paying extra for socks that look fantastic. At that pricepoint, it's a good deal if you're particular about the style. Most below has desaturated, boring colors and design, and most everything above costs much more. I get compliments, I look and feel great wearing them, so it's worth it.

I don't understand. I wouldn't pay that much. But I'm not you. As long as you're happy

I collect socks, so I think it's completely normal. If you like them, go for it. Sometimes socks can be a little pricey.

Worth a shot. Anybody got a unicorn that I can use to breed my mule?

You can normally find these socks at Marshalls or TJ Maxx for $3 a pair.

So thats... roughly 13 USD for a pair of socks. Effing ridiculous. For 7 pairs of socks, I could have bought a bottle of Creed.

I don't think they are very expensive .A pair of Nike or Adidas socks has similar price in my country. If they are good quality and you like them ,I would say to buy them.
