A very interesting article in the UK The Guardian about this.
Avon are in chaos it seems.

I respect people that go out and try to make a living selling Avon.
Avon needs to go right on being Avon, so that those of us who aren't too well off (or just too snobbish ) to be seen with an Avon rep have someplace to go for good products, which they usually are, at a great price. A Coty merger WOULD raise prices, as such things often do, and frags I love would be lost.

I have not seen or owned an AVON product for 25+ years.
With that said, I have good memories of AVON's soap on a rope when I was really young. It was cool to hang the soap from the bathtub taps. Maybe this is when I started my interest in scents.
When I smell a discount cologne and the opening burns my nose with alcohol...its Coty.
If I'm in blind buy mode I donít buy Coty anymore. So maybe its good AVON is free of Coty.
