Thread: Eau de Lanvin

    Default Eau de Lanvin

I have recently seen a bottle simply called Eau de Lanvin on Ebay. It strikes me as strange, since I was led to believe that the Eau de Lanvin title went with a specific perfume i.e. Eau de Lanvin Arpege, EdL My Sin etc.

The pictured bottle is exactly like the one shown when you enter Eau de Lanvin into the BN database.

Can anyone shed any light on what this perfume may be? I'm quite interested in perhaps purchasing it, but have no idea which perfume it might be, or if there is indeed an individual perfume just named a generic EdL by the Company.

There are or were quite a few fragrances named "Eau de...." for the company of origin. Eau de Guerlain, Eau de Lubin, etc. The ones I am thinking of were light, eau de toilettes done in a classic citrus/herbal style. I believe the house of Lanvin produced a scent like this in the 1970's.

Thank you both for your information. Shahor, the information you referred me to has been most helpful.
