Interesting news. I liked some of his earlier men collections at Jil Sander, especially the marble one and the multicolor (I only wish I'd have bought more of them). His latest ones were a little more sedate, I think, perhaps because of the recession. We'll see what he does at Dior.

Of course, no excitement coming from the perfume part of the firm.

Good news. I remember Simons' detournement of the Bauhaus logo. It was terrific.

Hedi Slimane was credited with the original 3 Dior men's colognes as well as Dior Homme during his tenure - let's hope that Raf Simons can bring some excitement to Dior, too.

BTW, Slimane is now in charge of both men's and women's at YSL - that could mean something new there, too.

    Wonderful news, I love Simons.

You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter - beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace - arise from beyond the mind.

    You begin to awaken"
