From nstperfume.com:
Brooklyn-based indie perfumers DS & Durga will launch Bowmakers, a new unisex fragrance, in May:
Amongst the transcendental woods of the 1800s, craftsmen from the Massachusetts Bay Colony built violins & bows in the tiny towns of the Pioneer Valley. The shops were riddled with old growth mahogany, burled maple shavings, amber pine rosin, aged walnut & their unique secret varnishes.
DS & Durga Bowmakers will be available in 30 ml for $110.

Sounds exquisite! Must sample
Added it to my test-list, thanks Joe.
Love this! It reminds me a lot of Macassar, although it's bolder, rawer - different .... but anyhow, takes me back to the 80s instantly!
Sounds heavenly to me... Definitely will add this to my sample list. Thanks for the info!

Haven't had much luck with the line personally. I tried them all last year but nothing stood out as particularly accomplished or noteworthy with the majority firmly planted in the meh category. Not particularly well rendered, and, at times, quite harsh. I did come around to Isle Ryder, but that's really the only one. They've got the whole banjo / rustic / Williamsburg thing down to a tee though.
