Default Twin brothers? Bulgari Aqua Marine and L'eau Par Kenzo

Today I received a sample of Bulgari Aqua pour Homme Marine and was astonished when I sprayed it because it smelled just like L'eau par Kenzo pour Homme. Hours later I'd say they smell about 95% alike. What's your take?

    IMO not similar at all.

I don't know Aqva Marine, but if it lasts longer than L'Eau Par Kenzo I'll buy it. I like too much LEPK, but its longevity is awful!

    Not at all similar, IMO.

I don't find Bulgari Aqua pour Homme Marine and L'Eau par Kenzo pour Homme really that similar. Admittedly, they both have citrus openings and some aquatic notes. However, the Bulgari goes on its way to a seashore apparition while the Kenzo yields to a lemonade.

Don't know the Kenzo but frankly wouldn't be surprised if Aqua Marine had quite a few relatives. I like it but it's not the most original scent in the world, I'd say.

This. A friend I know calls L'Eau par Kenzo PH "L'Eau de Swimming Pool". Doesn't smell like this sea at all.

They are similar styled scents, but I've always liked L'Eau par Kenzo whereas I really didn't like Aqua Marine much at all.

Agree. I find the Kenzo much better, and not too terribly similar to the Aqua Marine.

Not at all similar to my nose. I really appreciate L'eau par Kenzo for the craftsmanship especially the very beautiful lotus note in the middle that cannot find any where else while Marine is just another boring melony aquatic

Aqva Marine is one that can't be appreciated until it's worn in the extreme heat. It triples in projection and the longevity is excellent for an aquatic. Works magic on the skin and if it's hot and I'm going to be out in it, I reach for Marine without a second thought.
    My current favorites:

Bleu De Chanel, Creed Green Irish Tweed, Zino Davidoff, Dior Homme Intense, Creed Royal Oud, M7 (all versions), Chanel Egoiste, Dior Homme Sport, and Thierry Mugler Pure Malt.

I don't think there is any similarity. L'Eau Par Kenzo has a green tea vibe while Aqua Marine smells like seaweed.
