I'm new to this site and would appreciate your help in determining if these perfumes are real or fake. I bought Escada Magnetism and Britney Spears Fantasy yesterday from a perfume counter inside a well known store. I bought the Britney Spears Fantasy from the same counter back in November and it was authentic.
For some reason, the two perfumes I bought yesterday do not look real. I saved the box for the Britney Spears Fantasy (from November) and compared it to the new box and it the only thing that is different is the 4 digit code below the "Made In USA" which located on the bottom of the box below the barcode. The plastic on Fantasy is not tight but loose. On Magnetism, there is Arabic writing on the back.
I just need your opinion to determine whether they are fake.
FYI: I did not open them yet.
Links below will take you to the pics. Sorry I tried uploading them but it wasn't working for me no matter how much I tried. Thanks in advance!

Please re upload the pictures.
@hednic and @tonghpafu. I tried uploading them but it's just not working for me. I put links to them.
Hello????? Is anyone here? Please help! Thanks!
Hi uniquelydivine, welcome to Basenotes. I can see your pictures. I'm not an expert on judging whether things are real or fake. There is a site that will tell you how old your bottle is http://checkcosmetic.net/. You put the code from the bottom of your bottle and the brand it is and it will tell you when it was produced. They have Escada in their list, but not Britney Spears. I'd start there and see if it's a valid code number. Good luck.
Well how does the scent smell? If it smells how it should then I wouldn't be worried.
Hello people....wake up! LOL! I really need your help! Thanks!
Hello? Hello? Hello? I still need any help...Thanks!
What store did you buy them from?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????? ?
What is the name of the store? Walgreens, Duane Reed, Whole Foods??????????
Nothing in the pics to indicate they are fake. They look fine.
Before I answer any of that, can you tell me why you think Arabic writing would be a sign of a fake? I am genuinely curious, not making fun of you or anything. Did you read that somewhere or did someone tell you that means its a fake?
Here's someone who asked about Arabic writing:
That was my thought, that the fume needs to be suitable for a number of markets, all should be ok, I think.

"Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom." "It is honorable for a man to stop striving, Since any fool can start a quarrel." Proverbs.
I'm no expert at spotting fakes (I'm new here too). I have tried the checkcosmetic site before and it does work. Britney Spears scents are made by Elizabeth Arden and that company is listed on the site.
Could you check out boxes of the same scents at other retailers? If they look the same then you can rest assured that your bottles are okay. The loose wrapping on the Britney box could be shelf wear -- especially if you picked these up at a discounter like TJ Maxx or Marshall's.
I just wanted to know where people got that information. not saying youre discriminating or anything. Its just that everyone that asks if their fragrance is fake says that it has Arabic script as a sign of fakeness.
The reason it has Arabic script is because the middle east is a huge market for fragrances and some of the bottles that are supposed to go there to be sold get diverted to small shops and perfume stores here. I think it would be harder for the Chinese counterfeiters to worry about putting arabic phrases on the boxes, i would love to see the translations.
I looked up several pics and some have the 2.5oz -75ml close together and some have it spaced. I think there are 2 different box designs. The loose wrapping-who knows....
They look fine, ultimately you will have to smell them to see for sure. If they smell terrible and fake go back in there and raise hell and demand your money back. Isnt that what New Yorkers do, constantly scream at each other?
