Today, I tried fleur d'oranger 27. IMO it is about similar to bergamote 22.
Both are citrus but if they are having about the same smell then what is the point having two different things?
Could BNer experts explain a bit more details the difference between bergamot and orange scents please
Thanks very much
I'm no expert but to my nose the LL frag is more linear and the neroli plays a bigger role while the Lutens develops more and tuberose is a key player. The Lutens also smells a little more "natural" thank the LL.
Yes, yes I did.......
Again though, not really the same.
I'm not really a fan of both but they smell different when worn and are there to cater to different tastes.

I did notice that they were very similar looking from the notes...so which do you think it the better buy? I was leaning towards Bergamote 22 sometime in the future.
I don't think they are anything alike.
The first time I tried Fd'O I had to scrub it off because it was so sickly sweet to me. Later on I ended up loving it and getting a bottle - its almost like candy in terms of its sweetness. The Bergamote IMO seems more like a clean citrus, nice smelling. My bf wears the Bergamote when he wants that clean fresh feeling, but there is no way he'd ever wear the orange.
Their Neroli is more like an aquatic in that it has that rained on sidewalk smell.
Or why not the discovery set of 3 fragrances?
