Of course there is vetiver, which is better than citrus and aquatic anyway.

Certain light florals could work too (eg a light iris, some white floral, etc.), as well as light teas.

I agree, especially with vetivers as they are nice and clean. Great for summer or anytime for that matter.

yeah, go with a 'green' style fragrance. usually notes of wood, herbs, and types of fruits (not citrus necessarily)

look into Fougeres here - http://www.leffingwell.com/h&rfragra...e_masculin.pdf
Tom Ford Splits!!!! - Tobacco Vanille, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood, Noir de Noir - PATCHOULI ABSOLU
Plum Japonais, Italian Cypress, Neroli Portofino, Costa Azzura, Azure Lime, Champacca Absolute

HARD TO FIND - Lavender Palm, Arabian Wood, and AMBER ABSOLUTE, etc...

Most of the time I am very proud of the Basenotes community. Time after time I have witnessed the thoughtfulness, empathy & genuine friendship that members of this community extend to others - oldtimers & newcomers alike. There are other times, however, when egos get the upper hand and civility goes out the window. My philosophy is that I won't say anything here that I would not say if you were standing in front of me. Welcome to Basenotes, each and every one of us. ~ TwoRoads

Bulgari Soir and Gucci Pour Homme II- Both Tea fragrances. Also Menthe Fraiche by Heeley which is mint with green tea. Original Vetiver by Creed is also a great modern vetiver. Mugler Cologne if you want a very soapy smell.
    Top 5 Favorite Fragrances:
    1) Creed Aventus
    2) Creed Millesime Imperiale
    3) Kiton Black
    4) YSL M7
    5) Gucci Pour Homme II

Here are a few light fragrances I have worn, which i wouldn't class as citrus or aquatic:

    Creed Virgin Island Water
dunhill man custom - (spicy apple)
    Boss bottle
    nikos sculpture
    JPG le Male
    Heeley Menthe Fraiche

there are fragrances that contain subtle use of citrus such as Frapin L'humaiste and YSL L'homme.

I find Kenzo Power (mentioned way above) to be very citrusy.

Villoresi Uomo has some citrus on the topnotes, but it's mixed with spices that make it very interesting, and the drydown's great. Yerbamate is a tea-based scent that would work for summer as well.

And, as others mentioned, vetivers tend to work in the summer. Sycomore and Guerlain Vetiver are two I didn't see mentioned. I'm thinking of using several Kenzo's in my rotation this summer as well (Pour Homme, Once Upon a Time, Tokyo).

Try Boss Elements Aqua, Fahrenheit Aqua, Kenzo Pour Homme and Kenzo PH Boisee - they're all non citrus and not typical aquatics at all.
