    Default Best Amouage leather scent

Which Amouage has the richest leather scent?

    I want to sample:

    Dia Man
    Memoir Man
    Epic Man
    Memoir Woman
"No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this." Desert Rose by Sting and Cheb Mami, Album 1999.

I must say that none of the Amouages strikes me as a rich leather scent (perhaps by the time they get to Opus XVII?). In your set, if at all, Epic man, though it's more rose oud.

I don't know if any of the oils has leather; not the ones I have smelled.

Cacio, thank you. I noted that leather is in the notes.

    Lol.

Seconded, I haven't tried all, but none of the ones I did had any noticeable leather, including Dia and Epic.

I agree with above posts, although my nose detects some Leather on Memoir Woman.
This "leathery duet" Incense/Leather takes place on its final act (dry down), don't expect any leather at its opening, as matter of fact Memoir's Woman opening is a blast of Mandarines.
Although Memoir Woman is not much diffused, IMO is the Best Amouage created up to now, closely followed by Epic Man and Jubilation XXV (Apologies for deviating a bit from Primrose initial question)

I find Tribute to be the most leathery of the ones I tried, and even that one is not that much...

Tribute is the only one to have a leathery vibe IMO.

I don't get a tremendous amount of leather in any of them either. Dia Man has an extremely subtle leather note later in its development, but it is so well-blended that it is barely noticeable to me, at least, for example.
    Current Top Favorites:
    1) Portrait of a Lady (EdP Frédéric Malle)
    2) Giorgio for Men vintage (Giorgio Beverly Hills)
    3) Dia Man vintage edt (Amouage)
    4) Les Nombres d'Or Vetyver (Mona di Orio) - tie
    4) Lalfeorosa (O'driù) - tie

    6) Anat Fritz Original Formula and Classical (Anat Fritz)
    7) Captain vintage (Molyneux)
    8) Tzora (Anat Fritz)

No leather similar to Cuir de Russe or Bandit but Tribute as alfarom says has a leathery vibe embedded in the white tobacco.

    for swap/sale:

Leather may be listed but I don't really remember getting leather from any of these. I haven't tested them thoroughly though.

Dia Man is my favourite from those mentioned and does have a soft suede note as mentioned by drseid.

Although being an Amouage confessed fan, I do, by all means dislike Tribute, to my nose smells like HUGE ashtray, as I am not a smoker, I would never consider purchasing the former.

I also find the subtle leather note in Dia man similar to the one in Cuir Béluga, however Dia is not sweet at all.
