It would be great if you could use this as a guide, especially for people watching

“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.”

Yep, frou frou has also correctly guessed the first fragrance, which is

    Piper Nigrum
    Lorenzo Villoresi

Recalling the Orient and the Arabian markets facing the Mediterranean sea. Aromatic, black pepper in an erotic play with the stimulative scent of nutmeg. The aroma of wild marjoram from Sicily leads to a soft, warm base of ambergris, styrax and myrrh. A hint of red pepper spices this imposing composition.
    Note List:

Topnote: Dill, Anise, Fennel, Peppermint, Citric Notes

Heartnote: Black Pepper, Oregano, Nutmeg, Elemi, Frankincense, Petitgrain, Carnation Leaves, Rosemary

Basenote: Ambergris, Storax, Benzoin, Balsam of Peru, Myrrh, Atlas Cedarwood, Woods
See mumsy, you even got the inspiration point right. Cut yourself some slack already
I happen to love this fragrance by the way. The incredible detail and note separation continues to impress me, especially considering how complex the fragrance is.

Good job everyone, on to the vial B!

Well.... ''guessed'''.... It was spelled out really!
And I still got only some serious cloves, layerd with cloves. Topnotes: cloves, Middlenotes: cloves, and basenotes: Cloves.
Must be something with my skin!

About Dutch winter stews, I wanted to explain but was whisked off, lots of Dutch winterfood is laced with cloves, nutmeg, etc. or meat, rolled up, with lots of pepper and cloves, tied up and then roasted.

I would guess a mass market masculine.
just a guess you know? Só embarrassing when this turns out to be the penultimate, $200 per 1 oz, niche fragrance....

OOOh you're off again, so I've scrubbed up and got a tiny pot of coffee this time. I got a headache from over sniffing the last one.

I shall try and relax and think of nothing this time. I had very preconceived ideas that I found difficult to let go of before. It prevented me from smelling what was really there.

Ok... On paper first this time

Powdery with a sharp floral, like a lavender, or violet with a spicy or lemony twang.

Aspirin note more pronounced on skin. It smells like meadowsweet, or maybe hyacinth.

The smell is thin and powdery with no depth.
