Just got a 'wow! You smell nice' compliment from a guy at work. He asked me what it was and I said Original Santal.

It's always nice to get a compliment.

    Congratulations!

I wear some designer frags but I've yet to receive a compliment during work/uni. I do get a small number at social events with Le Male (hate it but girls sure like it) and my Brit mini. But that may have to do with the fact that I often wear flip flops + socks during classes.

Can't wait until Aventus and GIT arrive in the mail!

I am scare of OS, it seems too sweet to wearing it here.

By the way, I just got a compliment from GIT.

The others perfumes that gained me compliments are Terre d'Hermes (from cowowers & supervisors) & Timbuktu (from family members).

Didn't have the heart to tell him it was actually Mont Blanc Individual? lol. Just kidding of course.

Original Santal doesn't work in hot humid weather. Its more of a fall/winter fragrance. People who test OS often get put off by the initial cinnamon/Juniper blast which can be quite sweet when combined with the neroli, but the dry down is absolutely sublime and worth the wait. This is not the first time I've received compliments from this scent at work. However this is the first time I've received it from a guy.

The opening top-notes are VERY sweet, but you must wait 30-40 minutes for the warm and excellent dry-down.
