All are good but I much prefer GIT as the other two are just too feminine for my taste.

All fantastic it depends of your personal taste:

    - GIT (all year around, safe, refreshing a Classic!)
    - Noir de Noir (Mysterious, the Best Tom Ford among The Private Blend IMO)
    - Tonka Imperiale (Warm, thick, I would wear it more in a Winter)

They are vastly different fragrances, I agree with Bonoanimoes breakdown though. GIT would be the safe bet but if you're looking for something interesting which people seem to be drawn too I would say Noir de Noir.

Depends on what's lacking in your wardrobe: I would pick GIT if you need a daytime fragrance, NdN if it's a nighttime one you need, and TI as a feelgood comfort scent.

Sample Noir de Noir and Tonka Imperiale first when your in Vegas, imo, neither these two are versatile enough in term of "everyday scent" if that's what you looking for.

    3 totally different fragrances...

GIT...a violet heavy aquatic. Safe as everyone said...and somewhat decent. I wouldnt pay retail for it since you can get it for much cheaper.
Noir de Noir...Maybe cause I am middle eastern I dont find it that big of a deal? I mean it's nice, but quite typical where I come from. Still lovely though, also can be bought discounted from ebay.
Tonka Imperiale...Very risky, very thick...I love it myself, but it only smells good in winter, sometimes.

You got a fresh aquatic, a middle eastern floral, and a heavy oriental...all of them are excellent, it's hard to make a choice, it depends on what your collection could use I guess.

I pretty much agree with this and Bonoanimoes. My personal pick would be Noir de Noir.

You mention that you want something that will last a very long time - neither GIT nor NdN last that long on my skin (~5-7 hours). I've only sampled TI once, and I showered around the 5 hour mark. If strong longevity is an absolute must, I highly recommend you try on skin first or consider alternatives.

last and project? let's rule out GIT, the other two are good in those categories, Tonka's pretty irresistible imo

Tonka Imperiale by Guerlain - One is initially treated to a dulcet, marzipan-like accord, fashioned from the bittersweet bergamot, the nutty almond, and sweetish honey. Mint-like rosemary, with its faint terpenic aspect, wonderfully tempers the sweet accord. Transitioning to the middle, a billowing tonka bean imparts its spicy vanillic facet to the opening brew. A plume of fruitiness and dimmed smokiness from tabacco as well as a shadow of tutti-frutti jasmine swirl about. A drizzle of delectable heliotrope, with its delicate, caramel sweetness, presents. Segueing to the perfecting base, the tonka bean takes on an amber-like creaminess, and commingles with the balsamic menthol of pine. A fresh and somewhat sweet woodiness from cedar permeates the blend, while resiny, smoky, and slightly sweet incense sparkles here and there. A drydown of epicurean delight ensues. Possessing average projection and longevity, this entrancing, gourmand composition is well-crafted and unisex.

Wow, what a different assortment of choices. I think I'm going to have to go with Noir de Noir followed by Tonka Imperial. GIT is obviously good, but make it special for Vegas! Also, longevity is spotty on me at least. Noir de Noir has a really fantastic boozy rose and almost chocolaty feel to me, soooo soo nice. Tonka Imperial is nice, but doesn't live up to what's been said about it for me, although every time I wear it I absolutely love it.

GIT and TF can be found on stores all over the country, but TI is only sold at a few stores. So whichever you buy, sample TI in Vegas if you haven't smelled it yet. Otherwise it's hard to find outside of NY and Vegas stores.

GIT is the most versatile IMO. NdN is the most unique. Tonka Imperiale is a nice winter scent. Personally, I enjoy GIT and NdN almost equally.

TI is hardest to find, so there is that!

GIT is most functional, so there's also that!
