A flanker of a flanker? Very "Inception" of YSL.

Flanker is a word describing a new version of already known perfume. In this case there was originally YSL La Nuit de L'Homme and now we get another flanker YSL La Nuit De L'Homme Frozen Cologne. Flankers always share the name (or at least it's part), but they're not the same scent

Hey! I have it. Here's the review I posted:

All-in-all, it's meh. I don't get the 'frozen' notes but maybe that's just me.

Thank you sir. Beat me to it.

    YSL De L'Homme = OG
YSL De L'Homme La Nuit (or Cologne Gingembre or Libre) = Flanker
YSL De L'Homme La Nuit Frozen = Flanker within a flanker

I sampled this a few days ago and it really is nothing to shout home about. Not a patch on La Nuit in any way. Smells like a heavily watered down La Nuit with some citrus notes on top. Longetivity wasn't too great imo either. Was disappointed in this as I have a lot of love for the original La Nuit.

Got a chance to sample it for a bit recently. As others have said its like the orginal but with some more citrus which is interesting to me because if its more fresh that would be a good thing. Because the one problem for me with the orginal is when it smells good it smells good, but when its off sometimes I get this dirty rotten sorta flower garden sorta smell. So if this hides some of this and still gets compliments like the orginal that would be great. If I didn't already have the orginal id probably pick up a bottle of this from the bit I tried at least. GF seemed to like it too.

Versatile and fresh enough to be suitable throughout the year as everyday fragrance, but its longevity and projection are (at least in my opinion) just short of being strong enough for an everyday (possibly signature) scent.

I have L'Homme, La Nuit and La Nuit Frozen. And Libre. I NEVER touch Frozen and will be looking to sell it, it's nothing special at all - even a disappointment as I bought it after liking La Nuit so much. L'Homme for day wear and La Nuit for evening wear is where it's at for me.

The opening reminds me of Armani Code Sport. Frozen isn't bad, but nothing worth getting excited about wearing.
