Default looking for a modern "power" scent

SO im 24, and i LOVE the power, projection, longevity, and dry down of dare i say it...PS by Paul Sebastian but for some reason theres some "old man" connotations involved with this with women my age at times. Any recommendations for something with the above guidelines thats fairly inexpensive?

My Max cap is prob 80
    notes i enjoy: vanilla,cinnamon,cedar,musk

OH and Ive also realized I love the smell of black currant, any masculine colognes containing this?

It doesn't fit all the criteria you list but Spicebomb is still worth a sniff.

    Tobacco vanille.

Oh I just noticed your budget, well I'd still suggest trying this one out and maybe doing a split to drive cost down if you enjoy it.

Steering away from the Old Spice aspect, try:

Play Intense by Givenchy - Upon application, one is pleasantly treated to a refreshing duet of nectarous, mandarin tangerine and somewhat tart bergamot. Tumbling to the waiting middle, the citrus mixes with the slightly spicy and fruity pink pepper and coffee tree wood to brew a sweet, cocoa concoction, and flows to the wondrous base. Transitioning, multifaceted labdanum kidnaps the cocoa mixture and morphs the cocoa into a not unpleasant, tar-like, burnt coffee. The syrupy coffee joins with the woody vetiver, the sweet patchouli, the spicy vanilla of the tonka beans, and the soft, balsamic amyris wood to exude an awesome, mocha drydown. A delectable treat, this radiant composition has excellent longevity and very good projection.

    &

Uomo? Moschino by Moschino - One is initially treated to a crisp tarantella of bittersweet, citrusy kumquat and sweet and woody rosewood, tempered by an astringent and sour coriander. This fresh blend rapturously floats on a perfumed cloud, and eventually drifts to the awaiting middle. Here, in the heart, the fresh blend is supplanted by cyclamen, with its mildly sweet, floral accents, spicy and warm, cinnamon leaf as well as nutty clary sage, with its hint of anise. This invigorating medley flows to the waiting base. The refreshing base is a mixture of dry cedarwood, soapy musk and candied amber, moderated by antiseptic artemisia. An exhilarating and outdoorsy drydown ensues. This pleasant and masculine composition has average projection, albeit radiating, and excellent longevity. The quality to price ratio for this all-season fragrance is heavily skewed in its favor, given its inexpensive price.

I know this is wrong given the budget, but it sounds like you would love Amouage Jubilation XXV.

If my interpretation of "power scent" is correct, it means a fragrance that is really strong and lasts a long time. In my limited experience it would be something older, not newer. All the new stuff smells pretty thin and light to me. the older stuff is definitely better made, stronger, and lasts forever.

Put the eighty bucks in a cookie jar, keep adding until you get $250.00.

    Then go buy Invasion Barbare

    Rive Gauche Pour Homme $$
    Gucci Pour Homme $$$
    Tom Ford Extreme $$$$

Yves Saint Laurent's Opium Pour Homme. Need I say more? I seek answers here too, although unlike you, I rarely receive them. Enjoy.

Well you say cinnamon, vanilla, cedar and musk with some good power at your age...paco rabbane one million sounds like its right up your ally. Give that a shot. Woman love it but it is kinda overdone but if that doesn't bother you then who cares. And its in your budget.

I read the above as, "My max cap is 80 notes. I enjoy vanilla, cinnamon, cedar, and musk."!!! LOL! I thought man, if there IS ANY fragrance out there that can somehow combine REMOTELY NEAR 80 notes, blend them all perfectly, pull it all off, and come out smell amazing, not only do I need it (yesterday), but I wouldn't need another fragrance ever, I'd imagine.... And pigs can fly. ;-)
