Default Dior 1oz (30ml) and travel bottles (40ml) possible vintage?

Couple of months ago I tried to buy 30ml version of Dior Fahrenheit in local perfumery. SA told me that 30 is out of stock and discontinued and smallest variant is 50ml. Maybe this is sign that 30ml versions of Fahrenheit and Homme (and possible also 40ml travel spray versions) are all vintage (or atleast not latest reformulation)? I can buy 30ml just online but dont wanna risk that it is same juice as my new 50ml bottle Anyone seen 30ml/40ml bottle/travel spray in shop and checked batch codes?

Whilst doing a bit of digging, I ran into this post. Does anyone have an answer though?

Didn't realize that it came in that size.

I stand corrected. I actually bought it at an Ulta store locally for the 1 oz size. Seems they also sell it on their website. Therefore doubt this is vintage.

Can you please check what batch number is on box and bottle?

My 1 oz from Ulta store is a January 2012 (2NO1).

    For those in the U.S.:
I have found that dept stores and drug stores are your best bets for older formulations. For example, I think some Walgreens here in midwest sell Fahrenheit. I would just go into the store, ask to look at it, and read the batch code at the bottom of the box. The first number is the year, so if it says 7N32 or something like that, I would assume that means it's a 2007 as an example.

I don't think a lot of folks go into Walgreens and CVS to buy their colognes, though I might be wrong, so I wonder if the bottles in these types of places will be older formulation. I recently saw Fahrenheit at a VA hospital canteen - again may get lucky at these random places since Fahrenheit is sold everywhere it seems. Also try places like Lord & Taylor stores that might not be as busy as a Nordstrom or Macy's, but have a few bottles of fragrances tucked into the corner while most people purchase the Le Males and D&G's and more recently stuff that the SAs are pushing.

Yay! I just ran into some of those 40 ml travel editions at a local perfumery. Batch code says 2008 so I suppose they are pre-reformulation
