    Default Summer deliveries

I recently received a fragrance in the mail on a warm, sunny day and the bottle was pretty hot when I got it out of the box. It ended up smelling perfectly fine and lasted as long as I expected it to, but I know heat does bad things to fragrances; have any of you had problems with fragrances shipped in hot weather?

DOn't know, but I got my Rive Gauche in summer, it was very hot. Maybe it's me... but I think it lost the longevity and sillage it is supposed to have.
... And do me a favor - don't disturb my friend. He's dead tired.

    Welcome to the Bwahahaha! era...

How long does it have to be sitting for the heat to "get to" the fragrance I wonder? I have never had an issue, but I've also never had a frag delivered in the heat either. If it smells ok to you, I wouldn't stress about it!

    Likewise.

I think that heat is only an issue if your fragrances are left in a very hot place (say, in a bathroom or on top of a radiator) for a long period of time; weeks, months. A few hours in a hot delivery van isn't going to have any effect.

I made the same thread as you a few months ago, I guess it's all part of the game

I agree. As long as you keep it away from heat for prolonged periods of time, you should be fine.

When my GIT came I noticed the bottle was really hot too so I popped it in the refrigerator for half an hour. I don't know if I exacerbated the situation by exposing it to different temperatures though.
