Thread: Amyris

    Default Amyris

It has a weakly sweet smell and a moderately strange smokey quality to it. To me this oil is like a cross between the guaiacwood and vetiver. It is not as harsh as guaiacwood and might be easier to use.

Still for me it leans more to guaiacwood.

Amyris balsamifera, eo, Haiti: faint/weak woody smell, very dry, some balsamic qualities but un-sweet, rubber like undertones. Viscose but mobile, clear, not much color visible.
Currently wearing: Polo by Ralph Lauren
