Default Neroli Portofino Eau Fraiche Body Splash by Tom Ford

A 'lighter version of the original Neroli Portofino scent.

When the heck did this come out? Where was I?

It seems like it's only for sale at Harrod's but not at Neiman Marcus (as of this post). Any London Basenoters smell it and care to compare it to the original, which in my opinion is already very 'eau' and very 'fraiche' already?

Why to mess up by creating a lighter version of the balanced and Gorgeous Neroli Portofino?, I think this release is pretty much reductive.

I thought exactly the same. But I'm sure I'll buy it anyway!

Maybe their thought process is if you own all of the scented body products and you've applied all of them, then you don't really need a 'strong' fragrance to top it all off, especially in warmer weather.

I must admit I want a bottle, to showcase flagrantly on my bathroom shelf.

The blue bottle really is seductive.

Tom Ford's luxe version of Jean Naté/Axe genré?

I'm curious to try this one, too.

LOL. I tend to think Jean Nate would be banned in these times - recall that it had that dire hazard, oakmoss, in among its citrus haziness.

I hope this Neroli Portofino "lite" is just a nice seasonal variation and not a dumbing down. Hard to believe that the original would be "too much" for anyone.

I'd love to smell it. Never tried any of Tom Ford Private Blend...

Mike, I received an ad from Bergdorf on this today.

I agree that the original was good enough.

I tried this and have a sample. It's very nice, but just doesn't last as long as the original NP. Not bad for the price though. 8oz for $125.

The bottle looks great, not sure about the concept. I guess it would be a nice thing to splash on liberally after a shower in the summer when you're around the house or out doing something unimportant.

It's nice to know TF is making samples of this mikesc, maybe I can scrounge one up on eBay.

Both Neiman and Saks have it, along with Shower Gels and Skin Cremes.

I like the body splash (oil?) from this too.

Tip: Get it from eBay as they have some legit ones at dirt cheap prices. Be careful of some of the sellers, but there are definitely some good purchases to be had.

If they make NP any lighter they will be giving people empty bottles

Just saw this online for a great price. Now that its been on the market for a while... What do you guys think?

I'm wondering how it compares to the original and whether performance is decent?

New news to me. I'll stick with the original though.

The original is too pricey (especially for a 50ml). The Eau Fraiche (236ml) can be bought for around $85 online. If the performance is acceptable for what it is I might buy a few samples of the EdP, "spike it," and still only spend around $100. I'm wondering how the splash works, though. Is it a spray or literally a "splash" that you douse yourself with?

Are there more people that have bought the splash? I have a giftcard that I "need" to use, and was thinking about this one. What would the concentration of perfume be? EDC or more like EDT?
