Default New Haarlem or Reflection Man

I just CANNOT seem to decide which one of the two I want to pull the trigger on.
Reflection man looking at $200AUD for 100mL bottle
New Haarlem looking at $100AUD for the 50mL bottle.

Which one would you guys recommend, as I love them both equally!
Also, which one do you guys find garners the most compliments?
    Buying:
    Guerlain - SDV
Tom Ford - Lavender Palm (decant)
    Selling:
Amouage - Reflection Man (Australia Only)

Reflection Man by miles. It's a superstar in my book. Not the most versatile though, it's hardly a casual/day time scent. More of a scent a Gigolo would wear when out to impress!

Well, perhaps Tjoobie is a gigolo.

Just get decants of both. Or wait a bit - I might be selling 50ml of Reflection Man + the Reflection Man shower gel, shortly.

I haven't tried Reflection so perhaps my input isn't worth much! What I can say is that New Haarlem is one of my favourites, definitely in my top 5, and I highly recommend it.

    Also looks cheap at $100AUD?!

Amouage Reflection Man, without hesitation for me.

New Haarlem for me, I think Reflection man is vastly overrated.

Really? I'd say it was the other way around. Looking at the reviews:

Reflection Man: 12 positive vs 15 negative.
New Haarlem: 66 positive vs 10 negative.

    I own both,
New Haarlem is gorgeous gourmand, suitable for evening wear and winter/ fall months
Reflexion is more versatile, fresh and easier.

Did you reverse those reviews. Looks to me like New Haarlem by a landslide.

To me, New Haarlem has more of an "it" factor. It smells great. Reflection Man seems to be better composed...maybe more refined. Both are very nice, I would say go for 50ml of each. If you're definitely only getting one, I'd say Reflection is more versatile.

I would go for Reflection Man for reasons already stated. It's more complex and versatile in addition to being more mature and refined.

I posted that to disprove Duke Hunts bizarre belief that Reflection was overrated. It's actually extremely underrated like many of the best frags are

Reflection is a beautifull scent and perfect for what the OP is looking for...compliments. Grab it from SculptureOfSoul! (quick before i do)

Both good choices. New haarlem is sweeter. Reflection man is more versatile.

This one ^^^ is better than them both, and cheaper.

Rochas Man by Rochas - In its opening, a pleasing lavender and bergamot arouse the senses. From afar, a sweet and creamy vanilla bobs eagerly. Thankfully, the lavender remains throughout the composition to rein in the sweetness. The tantalizing vanilla does intrude on that grassy lavender, and brings its sugary sweetness to the fore, steering it to its heart. The middle beckons, stewing with its coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, cedar, and rasberry notes, as well as some, lovely jasmine and lily-of-the-valley accords. The sweet vanilla blends nicely with the heart, creating a delicious mocha cafe, with hints of wood and floral twinkling. The smooth base with its amber, sandalwood, and glimpses of patchouli, usurps the melange, softening it, and evolves into its enticing drydown. It's a well-constructed gourmand. This delightful fragrance's longevity is good; and its projection is average for the first 3 hours, then sticks to the skin.

I luv 'em both but if it's just one or the other, I'd go Reflection. I'd then consider spending a few bucks more to get Rochas Man as it can be had on the cheap and smells kinda similar to New Haarlem.

Reflection! And if wanna go the cheap route, buy the New Haarlem oil on this site http://www.haywardenterprises.com/index.html

I got one, and man...it smells exactly like people describe the actual New Haarlem. And it lasts forever. Now mind you, I've never tried the actual scent, so I can't say 100% that they're identical. But their Creed Royal Water oil is SPOT ON with the real thing. Try one of the little roll ons. They're like $8 a pop.
