    I agree with Sidney_Falco that a classic is one that people would agree is a major accomplishemnt even if they don't really enjoy or like to wear it themselves. In that vein, I think two fragrances that I personally don't like very much - Terre d'Hermès and Dior Homme - have to be on the list, simply for the impact they've made and the huge amount of enthusiasm they've spawned. They're also sufficiently high in both quality and originality to keep them from falling into oblivion 5-10 years from now.
    Third spot could be something I actually like: I'd vote for Sycomore, Encre Noire or Gucci PH-I (although the last one seems to have been either discontinued already or just disappeared from shelves - not a good thing if you want to be a classic!) Other strong contestants would be Rose 31 or Leather Oud.
