    Default Your Updated Starting Lineup

    1. Signature Scent
    2. Work Scent
    3. Night Out Scent
    4. Romance Scent
    5. Daring Scent
    6. High-Class/Formal Scent

Do one lineup for warm weather, one for cold

    Warn Weather:

    1. Acqua Di Gio - Whenever I dont know what to wear, I just grab this. By far my most used fragrance since the warm weather began. Regardless of the negative press it gets here, I love it and I think its the best summer designer on the market.

    2. Kiton Men - The quintessential work confident, business, work fragrance. A light loud/harsh at the top, but after a while you are left with a sweet, pineapple, mossy fragrance thats perfect for the work environment.

    3. Creed Aventus - Unfortunately, my 50 ml decant doesnt do that great on my skin. Nevertheless, this is still a phenomenal fragrance that is great for a hot summer night out on the town.

    4. YSL L'homme - Something about the Tonko bean in this fragrance makes it very romantic smelling to me.

    5. Jean Paul Gaultier's Fleur Du Male - To be quite honest, this is the only fragrance in my collection that I am scared to wear out. The first hour or so is.....daring. After the initial scare, this turns into Le Male+milk+white florals. Quite nice.

    6. Creed Green Irish Tweed - Need I say more?

    Cold Weather:

    1. Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male - This fragrance will forever represent me. My signature. My love. If I had to pick only one fragrance for the rest of my life, it'd be Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male

    2. Prada Amber Pour Homme - Really could have gone with Kiton for here too, but decided to switch it up a bit. Clean, soft, slightly sweet. With the right application, perfect for work.

    3. Thierry Mugler's Pure Malt - This doesnt get as much press around here as it used to. One of the greatest smells this planet has to offer. Intoxicating. Great for a night out in the cold weather

    4. YSL La Nuit de L'homme - YSL hit a romantic chord with me in there "L'homme" series. La Nuit is a phenomenal date fragrance. Honorable mention to Dior Homme Intense.

    5. Thierry Mugler's Angel Men - Need I say more?

    6. Dior Homme - Suave. Class. Seduction. Smooth. Elegant. Confident. You CANNOT wear Dior Homme with jeans and a scruffy t-shirt. If its not a suit, it has to be a nice polo , v neck, or something of the sort. Creates such an amazing, classy aura. Perfect.

For me, my warm weather and my cold weather choices would not be different and the six categories mentioned, for me, could be any scent in my collection on any given day.

Daring - Lush The Smell of Weather Turning
    Formal - Fahrenheit

Cold Weather (I live in Florida):

This is very much going to be a time-capsule piece for me as I'm sure my preferences will have changed by the time I even hit send, but here goes:

    Warm Weather:

    1. Versace Man Eau Fraiche - I get excellent longevity with this one, moreso than with just about any other warm weather fragrance and it's a nonstop compliment getter although AHS is a very close second
    2. Voyage d'Hermes EDT - Perfect for warm weather in a more professional setting
    3. Aventus - The tremendous projection and longevity makes it a great night out scent that practically embodies summer
    4. Herrera for Men - The rich tobacco notes mixed with the overall lightness of this fragrance make it perfect for close quarter combat in warm weather
    5. Dior Homme Sport - Will not work in all warm weather and certainly not in hot weather, but given the right situation this is a great one to pull out
    6. Grey Vetiver - I've only worn this one a handful of times but this just embodies class

    Cold Weather:

    1. Burberry London - What else is there to say?
    2. Terre d'Hermes - Class and professionalism all the way
    3. Gucci Envy - You will be the envy of all on a cold night wearing this one (no lame pun intended)
    4. John Varvatos/La Nuit (tie) - For close quarters, nothing beats the close-body scent of John Varvatos but La Nuit is the ultimate date fragrance
    5. D&G By Man - I'm not always in the mood to wear this fragrance, but whenever I put it on good results always happen
    6. LIDGE - You already know

I too wouldn't necessarily differentiate between hot or cold weather and my preferences will probably change over time. From my wardrobe at the present my selections would be:

    1. Signature Scent - Rive Gauche Pour Homme
    2. Work Scent - a tie between Z Zegna & Terre d'Hermes
    3. Night Out Scent - Aventus
    4. Romance Scent - a tie between Zino Davidoff & Dior Homme Intense
    5. Daring Scent - Chergui
    6. High-Class/Formal Scent - a tie between Aramis & Azzaro Pour Homme

Default Re: Your Updated Starting Lineup

Obviously in real life I rotate these around and wear them to different occasions, but for the sake of the list I will try to narrow them down to a specific role (in reality Dior Homme Intense for the most part works all these categories and would be the MVP of the group).

    Warm Weather
    1. Signature Scent - Creed Aventus
    2. Work Scent - Creed Green Irish Tweed
    3. Night Out Scent - Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight in Paris
    4. Romance Scent - Dolce & Gabbana The One
    5. Daring Scent - Dior Fahrenheit
    6. High-Class/Formal Scent - Dior Homme

    Cold Weather
    1. Signature Scent - Dior Homme Intense
    2. Work Scent - L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Eau Extreme
    3. Night Out Scent - Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de L'Homme
    4. Romance Scent - Thierry Mugler Pure Malt
    5. Daring Scent - Thierry Mugler A*Men
    6. High-Class/Formal Scent - Tom Ford Private Blend Tobacco Vanille

Not very different than my cold weather (though I do make general changes for weather, my starting lineup remains the same)

Default Re: Your Updated Starting Lineup

    Signature Scent
Acqua di Gio - It's a great fragrance for the California weather. Despite all the other fragrances I wear, everybody always asks me why I'm not wearing Acqua di Gio. I guess it really sticks with people.
I'll admit I also wear Fierce about as much as I wear Acqua di Gio.

    Work Scent
Versace Pour Homme - Working retail, it's a great confidence booster when you have to deal with numerous people all day long. I get compliments from both men and women. It's an overall extremely wearable fragrance and versatile in case I want to grab drinks afterward.

    Night Out Scent
Love and Luck - It's a very pleasant fragrance and I've never met anybody who was turned off by the scent, so I wear it when I go out with friends.
Usher V.I.P - A club I went to had a bottle of this in the restroom to sample. I went out the next day to purchase a bottle. I personally love it, perhaps nostalgia.

    Romantic Scent
Le Male - There's something about this one...

    Daring Scent
Aventus - I don't smell it very much with people my age. I wear it when I'm in the mood to really stand out.

    Classy/Formal Scent
Chez Bond - I feel like I smell like money when I wear this. It starts off super clean and dries down to something incredibly smooth and and elegant. Goes great with a suit-and-tie-like situation

I started to answer this, and then realized that I can't as my frags don't clearly suit a specific purpose. Very few of them, at least.

Id just like to add an honorable mention to my "up scale" fragrance- Ralph Lauren Safari. When I smell this, I think of someone in a suit who is intimidatingly confident with a handshake that can pop your knuckles. Very underrated fragrance in my opinion.

It's really funny that you mention Safari, I actually had this down as my cold weather office scent but deleted it just before hitting send in favor of TdH. So many people consider this a relic fragrance, but I really enjoy it quite a bit, surprised that it doesn't get mentioned more often in threads

It is impossible for me to pick just one and also impossible to pick one for hot and one for cold weather. I'd more likely pick 1 for each and for each season but then it would be too many.

    1. Signature scent - Acqua Di Gio / Gucci PH II
    2. Work scent - Gucci PH II / Dior Homme Intense / M7 / Rochas Man
    3. Night out scent - Pure Malt / Body Kouros
    4. Romance scent - DHI
