    Good Morning,

I received a ridiculous number of samples yesterday from a BN buddy - I think I'll be sampling solidly till the middle of next month!
Spritzed myself down with MPG's Pour le Jeune Homme (bright orange & neroli citrus), which should be perfect for the day ahead - 29 degrees in London!

Have a lovely Thursday, all !

never mind my suggestion, it looks like the theme for synch friday has already been set up for the rest of the year (??? - as i've discovered).
and I'M SURE i don't have anything pink (juice) in my collection. i could steal my wife's v&r flowerbomb though but i have a feeling that it would make me gag (especially in this weather). or i'm a taking it too literally??? (the pink part).

To be honest I haven't been exposed to the hot weather. Jumped into my car at 6:45 am which was parked in our garage and then drove 15 minutes to work and parked in another garage (building). The route home will be the same. AC in the car and work lol.

I'm sure it would be lovely in the warm weather too. The tar would certainly become more apparent.

Killiwia-nice pic. I just ordered my first Jo Malone samples. Had hard time deciding between Orange Blossom and Nectarine Blossom and Honey. I got the Nectarine. Also ordered Vanilla and Anise. Hope I like Jo!

Well, right now, I just tested some Juicy Couture scents. There is something very plastic-y, artificial and not pleasant about the feminine JC scents. Though, I am hoping to get some Dirty English for my hubs though for his b-day..he likes that one and I don't think it's bad either.

    Hi, gang!

Sampling Fragonard Capucine for now. My nose perked up at this one right out of the vial. The longer it's been on the more I've come to understand why- it reminds me quite a bit of Ivoire de Balmain. Love Ivoire and have long thought there weren't enough similarly styled scents out there. This is great! Can't wait to try the rest of my Fragonard samples!

    Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning (it's still morning here, barely!) sneaking in at work to say hello!

Today wearing To Dream by Sonoma Scent Studio. this is about as close as I can get to roses without having them smell like vomit on me, LOL. It's rose/violet, smells like itself, not either of those really, and is very refreshing smell, working well in the summer. It's not dreamy exactly as it's assertive and, well, refreshing. But it sure smells good.

Good morning everyone! I finally got caught up on lost sleep this morning and am being a bum.
    SotD is Trebol by Gal.

In a bit I'll go out to mail a book and see if I can find some fiddleheads to buy (baby ferns, yummy), as they are only available for a few weeks in May each year. They taste rather like a cross between mushrooms and asparagus. They have to be boiled for 10 minutes to break down toxins (safe when fork-tender, no need to overcook), and then a bit of butter and garlic added make them delicious!

Our "Gertrude Jekyll" English rose bush started blooming two days ago-- about 2 weeks earlier than usual, thanks to the warm weather. This rose has a wonderful old rose fragrance. Photo is from a previous year-- I'm feeling too lazy to take another one!

It sounds like a Jo I would like. I haven't heard of Jasmin Rouge till today..it sounds like also something I want to try! Tom did win quite a few Fifis didn't he? I have only smelled Black Orchid and White Patchouli. I didn't really like those a whole lot. BO, the composition was impressive but the creamy floral notes I didn't care for(probably the gardenia).

Bluebell..that sounds like one I must sniff..I love bluebells. I need to smell a bluebell fume.

Continuing with MPG samples tonight: Eau des Îles (smokey coffee - not my thing)
and Jasmin. The latter is definately winning out: There's something magical about the smell of jasmine wafting on the languid, night air.

I'm wearing By Kilian Prelude To Love today. It is such a happy little frag! Sparkly orange blossom and iris.

    hugs to all!
    I've trademarked the color bleu

TO bed, SOTN is simply White Shoulders dusting powder to usher me out of a hot, humid, loud day into the cool quiet of the night, with a perfect deep blue-green sky and the sliver of a silver moon peeking through my window.
What do insomniac perfumers do to fall asleep? They count chypres!

Today I wore Aqua Allegoria Mentafollia by Guerlain. (Almost finished my sample spray.) A happy scent, maybe even lucky.
I send thee this sweet perfume a fragrance to the fragrant, as one would offer wine to the god of wine.
