Default ADG Sillage/Projection compared to Cool Water

Cool Water projects and lasts well on me. I want to buy Acqua di Gio but I've read complaints about its projection and longevity - thoughts?

AdG compared to VINTAGE CW is weak, but curent CW is one of the worst aquatics in all aspects. SO GO FOR Acqua di Gio.

From my own experience, ADG lasted up to a day with just a number of sprays.

Personally I think AdG has rather good longevity. Not 12 hours or more on my skin, but easily 6 hours at least.
    Current Top 5:
    1. Frederic Malle L'eau d'Hiver
    2. Tom Ford Noir de Noir
    3. Dior Homme / Dior Homme Intense
    4. Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Havane / Pure Malt
    5. Creed Aventus / Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille

I always thought AdG was pretty powerful stuff, but then again I attributed that to kids dousing themselves with it...

I also don't have any problems with longevity from ADG. In fact, I get more longevity and consistency from ADG than the current formulation of Cool Water (which seems to fade & then come back a few hours later in the drydown). Also, the cheaper ADG copycats (Perry Ellis 360 Red & Paris Hilton Just Me) also have really good longevity for aquatics. ADG has a more floral/marine vibe though, while the copycats are more fruity.

But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ADG. It gets knocked for its popularity, but there's a reason it's been #1 for 15 years; it's one of the best & most pleasing aquatics on the market. (I'd take it over Aqva, Erolfa, Wall Street, Kenzo Homme, etc. any day).
