Love them, wooznib!!!
Rose of the Day is a Bulgarian oil rose 'Trigintipetala', needless to say the smell is divine.
Lots of garden work done this afternoon, still 'cleaning up' last winter's damage.
Tonight I'm in Vega - Guerlain. Dinner canceling in place today (I will take you up on that offer to send a few pounds per airmail, G. ), but I do look forward to my Sobranie...
Best to all

SOTD: Cologne Sologne by Parfums de Nicolai.
Wooznib, I didn't know Angel's Trumpet turned pink! They are beautiful!I'm in Eau d'Hadrien today, an older bottle.
Headed to the mall with our daughter so she can shop for clothes and "blow out the cobwebs."
Bendelirious for me today.
It is so quiet around the neighborhood today, it's almost eerie.
We saw 3 species there (White, White-faced, and Reef) regularly around the rivers and estuaries near my sister's home in Christchurch. (Not my photos either !)
We also get the regular Grey Herons occasionally here at our garden pond.
Hi all, I'm new to basenotes and so excited!!
Today I'm wearing (as I have for the past week) Pamplelune by Guerlain. It's so grapefruity and powdery and perfect for summer. I love it
Perfume and birds - two of my favourite things. Thanks for the heron pics, Quarry & Jon !
Very special SotE : Jicky PdT, courtesy of Larimar. I'm *speechless* . This is seriously the stuff of dreams.
Have a great time out on the water, Evangeline.
Welcome to BN, refraich !
Best to all.

Mixed Chanel Exclusifs sample batch this evening No 22, No 18 and Beige, thank you Whwend.
Also thanks to Cacio and Gandhajala for other Exclusif samples
So far Cuir de Russie, Beige, No 22, 31 Rue Cambon, Bois des Iles and Eau de Cologne are through to the next round.
So many kind BNers have helped my search and I'm so grateful
Thanks for the welcome I am lusting afte Beige and Eau de Cologne so badly right now. I went to a Chanel counter and had one sprayed on each arm. It was fantastic! The only not so great thing I noticed was that Eau de Cologne faded after about 2 hours of wear. Still it was delicious enough that I wouldn't mind having to reapply!
Welcome to Basenotes zubi and rafraiche!
Possumbility, I saw that video on the Today show this morning, so cute!
Love all the pictures today!!
Well my son and I are back from visiting my daughter this weekend, we had a
great time, so much fun! I only wish we could do it more often.
SotE is Dior Escale a Portofino.
Hiya and welcome to the rabbit hole rafraich and zubi!
Quarry- Ever watched the TV show Portlandia??? check it out. It's a hoot.
I love herons- in an undeveloped field across the street from my workplace, they come to hunt. I keep trying to sneak up on them to take photos. The co-workers tell me how entertained they are watching my efforts to sneak up on them.
Yes, today is a holiday here and I am avoiding the mall and the highway.
I am sampling from Sonoma Scent Studio today thanks to a dear and generous Basenoter, 30 Roses.
I'm back from our weekend get away to Kansas City ... I had the opportunity to visit the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum. One of the special exhibits was decorative arts of the World's Fairs. It was very cool!

My scent today is my newly purchased Bond Andy Warhol. It was totally spontaneous, as I had planned to buy High Line ... best laid plans and all. The plum and incense notes got me!
I've trademarked the color bleu
Finishing the day in Kanøn Norwegian Wood

YSL Nu this evening.
I send thee this sweet perfume a fragrance to the fragrant, as one would offer wine to the god of wine.
Back after (I suspect) 6 months hiatus ...
Ambre Fétiche by Annick Goutal
Today was the second day of Shavuoth, so there was yizkor, the memorial service for our departed, at my synagogue. I wore Guerlain Iris Ganache IMO mother, father, sister, and others. I've set this fragrance aside for memory. It is pensive and beautiful.
What do insomniac perfumers do to fall asleep? They count chypres!
