    Morning!

Same here... 2 days in a row, but with Amouage Ubar (sample), which is somehow getting me to like civet. I even sprayed it on before bed so I could wake up to it... Yum!

Perfume appeals to my nose the way music appeals to my ears, exquisite food to my taste buds, photography to my eyes, and great loving from my man to my sense of touch.

I can safely conclude, then, that PERFUME IS ART in its purest form.

As an artist, I therefore have a responsibility to buy as much perfume as I can. You know, to learn about art and all.

Oh alfarom, I am soooo jealous. I am ready to go back to Paris anytime again. Do enjoy your time and please do report back!

Today I am in L'Heure Bleue EdC from the 1960s. This is one of the greatest stunners (for being still so fresh) that I have ever encountered in perfumery. The L'Heure Bleue floral orchestra at work with a lighter background (which is a very nice alternative). I am usually not too fond of the Guerlain EdCs (Shalimar, Mitsouko), I know, contrary to many here, but L'Heure Bleue is terrific.
On one wrist I have a small patch of Iris Silver Mist and the verdict is - no, I still can't do the carroty thing! I don't like it.

    Have a great day all!

I have read that Insolence EdP nods its head quite often at L'Heure Bleue in certain notes; it's on my to-sample list. Must be lovely, as I adore Insolence!

Only 10 days before the oral exam now...feeling a littlebit under the weather and lack some motivation... Hopefully it will get better! Have a smooth start of the week all.

ION I showered and tried Amouage Dia for women; I do like the heart a lot for summer, but the drydown and the scent is just not for me... Wondering if I should shower so I can put on Memoir <3

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. Wishing everyone a great holiday.

Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan

Well, I started out in O de Lancome, but I seem to have ended up in Bobbi Brown Beach. Hey, if the shore is too crowded, at least I can smell like I'm there. :-)

Due to this being a U.S. holiday, we enjoyed a traffic-noise-deprived morning on the veranda watching birds fly by, including the Great Blue Heron.

Wearing the full orchestra that is Hermes 24 Faubourg.

Have a peaceful day, my chums.
