I would look at Rive Gauche and Eau Sauvage
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a men's cologne that I can wear mainly to work. I'm a young professional so I meet with different people in different settings, indoors and outdoors in formal/semi-formal and informal places. I want something that can work for all environments through out the work day-- from my office to a customer's house to casual evening activities. I'm not looking for anything particularly romantic, necessarily (single at the moment) but I would definitely like something that might hint toward a sensitive side.. I'm 25 so I'd like something that is age appropriate also. Your help is greatly appreciated, I've been checking out the forums for a while looks like people know what they're talking about. Thanks!
Eau Suavage
aqui Di Gio
basically any fresh light scent
Off-Site Decants =) (updated 04/24/2017)

For work I recommend:
Bleu de Chanel
Terre D'Hermes
Gucci Pour Homme II
Caron Pour Un Homme
Guerlain Homme L'Eau
+1 Rive Gauche
Acqua di Gio
+1 Gucci Pour Homme II
Versatile, modern and smells great!
Welcome:
My all purpose work scent is Chanel Sycomore. It's a vetiver (that is, natural, fresh and slightly green), so it's good for day wear; but it has a touch of woods that make it also elegant and appropriate for evening occasions.
The only drawback is the cost ($115 for 75ml, $215 for 200ml)-plus it's available only at Chanel boutiques, not in regular stores.

I really appreciate the range of suggestions guys. I'm trying to narrow these down by ones that are wearable pretty much all year round, aren't notably sweet while maintaining that hint of sensitivity, and are preferably under $100 for 3.4oz though I may make exceptions.
My favorite scent of all time is Prada Amber Pour Homme. It's soapy and very elegant and professional, you'll smell like a million bucks. I got the 1.7 oz. bottle for $40. Highly suggested.
Also, I wear it all year, including summer. It would be great for the office.
Even though I don't own it I would also suggest Terre d'Hermes...great scent, earthy and citrus...very inoffensive and versatile. Seems like it would fit what you're looking for...within your price range also.
Gucci PH II, you wont regret it. Very nice black tea fragrance, calming and relaxing. Perfect for ALL seasons, especially spring and fall, projects perfectly for what youre looking for as it is not a strong, cloying scent. And this one definitely hints toward a sensitive side as it has a nice touch of cinnamon as well. This is a perfect work fragrance. And also perfect for any age, especially around 20+.
I own around 40 bottles right now and this one is probably the nicest scent to my nose.
L'Homme by YSL

+ 1 to YSL L'Homme

+ 2 or 3 Prada Amber Pour Homme
I also may add:
Brooklyn Bond no.9 (a blast of a grapefruit, juniper berries, woods and leather...love this fragrance)
Chez Bond Bond no.9 (very nice citrus, woods and slight tea...smells like GIT and Cool Water)
Boss Bottled (LOVE this fragrance. Apples and cinnamon. Great for fall and winter)
D&G The One (Creamy tropical vibe very very nice)

2. Tom Ford Noir de Noir
3. Dior Homme / Dior Homme Intense
4. Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Havane / Pure Malt
5. Creed Aventus / Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
Grey Vetiver

Allure or Egoiste by Chanel.

+1s to Terre d'Hermes and Green Irish Tweed. Grey Vetiver also would work well, even though I personally find it too bland. I'll add Bursch by Acqua di Biella if you want a nice subtle, but natural smelling cedar and rhubarb combo.

Another vote for YSL's L'Homme. I too work in a sales role and I find this to be perfect for me. Versatile, inoffensive, fresh and sophisticated. Lacks a little longevity but I carry a decant in my work bag when I wear this so it isn't a problem. I also get 10+ hours from this if I spray on my clothes. Definitely recommend trying this one!
Here's what you need:
Antidote by Viktor & Rolf - One is immediately treated to a fresh and cooling, citrus opening, furnished by the zesty grapefruit, nectarous mandarin and tart bergamot, with a twist of sharp mint. Tumbling to the flush middle, the sweet florals of fruity freesia, green geranium, earthy violet, light lavender and citrusy orange bloosom are nicely encased by the warm and pleasant spices of nutmeg and cinnamon. This lovely, strong heart meanders to the robust base. Here, a pastiche of evocative leather, lively incense, creamy amber, sweet vanilla, murky vetiver, resinous labdanum, clean treemoss, smoky guaiacwood, carroty iris, dry white cedar, bright sandalwood, powdery tonka beans, herbaceous patchouli and soapy white musk bombard you with scents you have experienced a thousand times before. Remarkably, this motley assault leads to an entertaining and intriguing drydown. This high-quality enterprise is very versatile in light of its kaleidoscopic heads, and can be worn any time and any season. A one-stop wonder, this amalgamated composition has excellent longevity and good projection.

I think this really depends on your own sense of what is appropriate. Some of the scents mentioned here, while amazing stuff, to me are just WAY too over the top for an office. While I love heavy, dense, opulent scents... there are people in office environments who are against even scented laundry detergent.
