Default Green Irish Tweed, might just be me but..

does anyone get a somewhat dark musky staleness from this scent? I always hear it is one of the freshest green scents around but the musky/stale note in my opinion is off putting when I try to think of it as a really fresh scent. Is this just a bad bottle or is this just what GIT is about?

Personally don't get any muskiness from this scent.

I get what I would call a cauliflower-like smell in it, which I can't stand. I don't know what causes it, but it's rank.

Not sure if that's what you are referring to.

Ssometimes the iris just pops out too much for my liking and creates a Dior Homme on roids feeling for me... I could see how one might construe that as staleness.

Sometimes Ambroxan (synthetic Ambergris) has an unusual musky/animalic/marine quality and GIT contains a fair dose of Ambroxan. Do you only get this in GIT or is it something you've noticed in other Creeds?
