Default Creed returning a Scent this fall that has been unavailable

On Creeds Facebook page, they state they will be returning a scent this fall that has not been available for years.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

This would be quite interesting if true.

I wonder if they'll release the scent exactly as it was, or if it will be reformulated. I'm sure there will be a batch variation, at a minimum...

Vintage Tabarome would indeed be welcomed.

Can't think of anything else it could be but what has already been mentioned above.

My guess is it will be 50 ml and only in the leather atomizer for $500. They already did Vintage Tabarome so my guess would be something else.

I thought VT only gets released at the beginning of each decade?

    I'm guessing. . . Angelique Encens. . .

. . . well, hoping for that one, at least. There are several good candidates for re-release. Maybe Aupebine Acacia. Maybe their version of bay rum.

It will be the 2005 batch of Millesime Imperial that has good longevity, good sillage and a delicious melon note. That's what everybody has been waiting for.
Sorry, had to say it, LOL.

They're making an exception this year due to being the end of the world.

Amen to that. I have a sample that a friendly SA made for me, and I'm down to the last few drops. It is lovely stuff.

I found a sample bottle in a store recently, in a store in which the SAs had no idea of what they had, and I am thinking of going back there and offering anything, ANYTHING to get that bottle into my collection. Hope springs eternal for a legitimate re-release.

There were two green flacons left of Angelique Encens at Fortnums in London in Spring 2009 . I kick myself till today for not buying one of them .
Aubepine Acacia is another beauty I wonder if it will be resurrected .

How interesting! If it has been years, that would rule out Private Collection Tabarome, since that one was re-released in a limited fashion in 2009. Under current IFRA regulations some older heritage fragrances just cannot be made at all (Verveine Narcisse) and others would probably be degraded to some extent. Angelique Encens is the only heritage fragrance I can think of that has a chance of selling briskly. Cypres Musc could probably be made but would likely not generate much fanfare (or lots of sales). Herbe Marine? It won't be long before we know. If the juice is supposed to arrive in the fall it is probably already bottled. Hats off to Creed for stirring up a little fragrance excitement with a heritage release. Thanks for breaking the news Cairomerta!

The Creed Boutique page hints it will be one of the women's scents.

My guess is Amalfi Flowers or Fleurs de Gardenia although I think neither has a very large fan base.

Wow, it must be a spicy scent, something good in cooler/cold weather.

Another here hopeful for Angelique Encens. I've got a small sample I got years ago and use it only very sparingly and infrequently.
I don't have a signature fragrance. My signature changes a little bit every day, why shouldn't my fragrance?

There are many worthy candidates. Personally, I'd like them to bring back Green Valley.
