    Default Long Lasting Fragrances suggestions

I'm looking for some suggestions for a long lasting fragrance spray , that lasts all day peferably!

I use Kouros , Lacoste , Paco Rabanne , but they don't last on me at all.

I have been looking at more expensive fragrances , ie Creed , Tom Ford etc , but cant decide on whats the long lasting ones are , the scent doesnt have to be perfect for me , long lasting is just as important for me.

Creed - Green irish tweed is one i have been looking at (reviews) , some reviews on that are 8 hours lasting on some people which would be ideal , but some say 2 hours!

On my skin, of those i have tried, Chanel Antaeus and Kouros (vintage) are the most long-lasting ones.

    Which Creed Fragrance is it?

Out of the Creed range , Green Irish Tweed seems to be most popular

Most Tom Ford's have good longevity, I think, as many are EDP's (Tobacco Vanille, for example). When I think of Creed's longevity king, I think of Bois du Portugal. Aventus is also decent, along with Silver Mountain Water (especially if sprayed on clothing). Some disagree about SMW, however.

Aside from the houses you mentioned, YSL's M7 is a longevity monster, as is Dior Homme Intense. You would definitely need to sample all of these before buying, however.

Look into Montale, almost all are longevity monsters. I love Dark Aoud and Black Aoud but there are many to choose from depending on what notes you prefer. I also agree about (vintage) M7.

Look no further than Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle. That is the longest lasting one I have experienced to date. Less expensive long-lasting options are Giorgio for Men and Bogart pour Homme.
    Current Top Favorites:
    1) Portrait of a Lady original formula (EdP Frdric Malle)
    2) Giorgio for Men vintage/V.I.P. for Men (Giorgio Beverly Hills)
    3) Dia Man vintage edt (Amouage)
    4) Les Nombres d'Or Vetyver (Mona di Orio) - tie
    4) Lalfeorosa (O'dri) - tie

    6) Anat Fritz Original Formula and Classical (Anat Fritz)
    7) Captain vintage (Molyneux)
    8) Tzora (Anat Fritz)
    9) Javanese Patchouli (Zegna) - tie
    9) Monsieur de Givenchy vintage (Givenchy) - tie
    9) Coeur de Vetiver Sacr (L'Artisan) - tie
    9) X for Men (Clive Christian) - tie

Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle - there is lots of great reviews for smell and longevity , it's expensive , but i guess it's worth it - but not sure if it's too feminine!

Tobacco Vanille from Tom Ford lasts well over 12 hours...which seem too long for me for most uses!

Confirming what Akahina and karown said: Definitely try the Montale line (esp. Black Aoud) and Terre d'Herms Parfum (not the Eau-de-Toilette-concentration).

I'd better not trust Creedish longevity-superlatives, as one bottle of Green Irish Tweed may last welll while the next bottle's scent is gone without a whimper (Creed is most famous for their batch-inconsistency, i.e. their inability to ensure continuous quality.)

Cartier Santos Concentree. 2 sprays under my shirt at 8 a.m. before work, and when I left a movie at 10 that night I could still easily smell it as the air currents passed around me.

These four have insane longevity, they easily last more than 12 hours on my skin.

    Tom Ford -Tobacco Vanille
    Le Labo - Santal 33
Frederic Malle - Portrait of a Lady
    Montale - Aoud Lime

Yes, this is one of my 2-spray max frags; the other being Gris Clair. Honourable mentions for Costume National Homme, Opium pH EdP, TdH and Egoiste.

Joop! Homme - shocked that nobody previously mentioned it, unless I missed it. Longevity monster, I coaxed something like 30 hours on it on one wrist a while back without showering.

Agree on Kouros and Terre d'Hermes for sure.

Honestly longevity depends on your skin type and how a your skin chemistry is with that particular fragrance.

For instance I'm using suggestions as an example.

mesaboogie put Midnight in Paris and Mugler Cologne at 8 hours for him while I on the other hand get 15+ hours consistently with MiP and 10+ with Mugler Cologne.

he also stated that he gets 12 hours with Pure Havane while I on the other hand get about 8hours.

Also as mesaboogie mentioned some fragrances are known to be longevity beasts consistently for everyone such as A*Men, TdH and HM.

So I would suggest sampling to get a good feel for how longevity is for you as no two people skin types are exactly the same and react the same with different fragrances.

I am wondering how you have not added the SWISS ARABIAN Jannatul Firdous (THE HIGHEST PARADISE) ,smells quite good, 8+ longevity and projection monster guaranteed ,this is for cheap price.
For expensive one , Amouage Memoir Man or Opus IV, really expensive ones, but definitively they last all day in every skin without any problem. Right now Jannatul Firdous is my signature scent and i keep getting a lot of compliments.
As medium range you can try a true powerhouse scent Moattar Dhahab which is unisex, but more a feminine perfume anyway i wear it and from my office female friends i get a lot of compliments as well, very sensual sweet vanilla scent. These are my recommandations for every budget you may have.
Jannatul Firdous 9 ml perfume oil 8.5 pound max
Moattar Dhahab 100 ml eau de parfum spray 40 pound max
Amouage Memoir man 50 mln eau de parfum spray 100 pound max

I sprayed Giorgio on before work one day and got 8 hours and some. Terre is a very longlasting one as well. Not alot people give credit to avon but I do with their mesmerize cologne. I get atleast 8 hours out of that one when I wear it.
