Today was my first actual day of wearing Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum (wearing it to work, not just testing it).
I've got to say I was surprised by two things-- the original vibe of Eau Sauvage did linger a lot longer than I thought it would today. For several hours I kept getting whiffs of the original.
And the other thing that surprised me was this-- even though I don't think the pyramids even begin to resemble one another, Eau Sauvage Parfum wears a LOT like Musc Ravageur, especially into the drydown.
When I spray ES Parfum on my arm in an exposed area, it dries down to a very dry vetiver scent at the end of the day. When I spray it on my chest, under my shirt I get something else ENTIRELY. It becomes a vanilla/musc monster just like Musc Ravageur. It's really crazy!

Chanel Antaeus day
Good morning everyone!
Went swimming this morning (yay, finally, I missed it) and when I came back home I was caught by a surprise that there was no electricity in the house. Don't know if it was because of some ground works that are being done by my street or something else, nevermind. Good that the electricity was back within 30 minutes.
Today I effuse the smell of Histoires de Parfums 1876 Mata Hari. Really interesting blend of iris, rose and many others.
The weather is great so a bike-ride is a must for me!
Ya' all have a good day!
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Black Vetyver Cafe by Jo Malone
Born from a passion to create the perfect coffee note, Black Vetyver Café is a rich, sensual scent. The deep, bitter character of the coffee bean is steeped in earthy notes of vetiver and temple incense.
