Default Mont Blanc Individuel - WOW!!!!!!!!!

I just received a sample of this and after owning Creed Original Santal in the past, I can say with no shame that this juice is 100% identical in smell at a fraction of the cost. I'm truly shocked AND very happy!

I like Individuel as well. I have both Original Santal and a mini of Individuel, and I actually prefer Individuel. My favorite part of these two scents is the sharp opening with the juniper & herbal notes, and to me, Individuel holds onto these sharper notes longer while OS morphs into a more lipsticky smell as the vanilla base comes in.

Pretty much the same fragrance with minute differences. Think OS projects and lasts longer, but for the price it's hard to justify buying a bottle of OS.

I agree they smell the same. I haven't given Individuel a full wearing and can't attest to the longevity, but Original Santal lasted 15 hours on me with amazing projection for the first couple hours.

Yeah, Mont Blanc Individuel is a great buy and it is different than OS in the fruity, bright elements. I won't say either is better but considering MBI is less than 1/3 of the cost of OS, I can't condone a purchase of the latter. I just picked up a bottle recently but I'm waiting for the temperature to drop so I can whip it out right. Maybe around Sept/Oct...

If smelling good was a crime, I'd be serving a lifetime sentence....

As soon as my OS got low I got Individuel. I find it funny how Creed say a lot of companies copy them when they too do it themselves. Look at when Individuel was made and when OS was made. This isn't me bashing Creed either - I'm a huge Aventus and GIT fan.

I bought this a few months back and I have to say that I really like it. Longevity is always a problem on my skin, and Individuel does quite well. Overall, like Azzaro's Chrome, it is a fantastic value for the price.

I've never, ever got on with Joop!, but there are hints of OS that I could be persuaded to like. I doubt I could ever get through anything more than the 30ml bottle though!

But it seems worth giving Individuel a try, given the similarity. Especially when a small bottle can be had for so little! Anyone care to say roughly how similar they are? Some of the notes in Joop and OS were just too strong for me - I don't want to smell that much in an office. I certainly don't like Joop, but OS has a great sandalwood note after it has calmed down a bit.

Honestly only the first 10 minutes and last hour seem different to me. The majority of the ride is the same. Imagine Dior homme and the difference between the original reformulation and the new one... THATS a bigger difference to me than OS - Individuel.

I'll have to go back and recheck Individuel.
So far, it's never grabbed me, and I'm a big fan of Joop and it's summer flankers. It didn't strike me as very similar to OS, which I also own.

Ha, this brings back memories! I used to love Individuel -thought it was my HG when I started this hobby. It gradually started to seem too sweet and too simple, but now I'd like to go back and re-check it. Sometimes lately I'm just in the mood for something that's simple and smells good.

It is very close to creed's original santal. In fact, I only tried santal and never bothered purchasing the bottle because the MB Individuel is so much more affordable.

I got redberries on a smooth suede base. I use to own at and do like it. My issue was that not matter how much I sprayed, it remained thin and airy. A nice fragrance but I suppose I was looking for more kick.

Isn't OS a fragrance for both men and women? What would be a more affordable option for women? I see that MB Individuel has both a male and female version. I am assuming the MBI for men is the one that is similar to OS? Thanks!

It didn't strike me as anywhere near 100% identical to Original Santal.
