    Question OUD SERIES = " GUERLAIN" OR " XERJOFF " - RELATION COSTS X PERSONAL PLEASURE ( between both )

    Sometimes a cheaper fragance bring us a tremendous pleasure of wearing it.
    If compared to a similar expensive, the cheaper is the winner.
    I am in doubt, wondering, if all raw materials of an expensive fragance are 60% natural.. For their charged price ;
    Are they worthy ???
    tks

    Personally I find Xerjoff ouds to be among the best things the house dlivered so far...I'm afraid I can't say the same about Rose Nacree du Desert. When I think about Guerlain, I surely not think about oud...

    Guerlain is a great house, but they don't have a clue on what to do with oud.

    +3. I never think of Guerlain when looking for an Oud fragrance.

    Leaving Guerlain out of the discussion, Xerjoff does make very good ouds.

    I wouldn't approach Guerlain if I had a craving for oud.

    First I'd just wear pure oud oil. When you want edamame, you go to a Japanese restaurant not an international cuisine restaurant right.

    After pure oud oil it comes to individual perfumes not perfume houses. No perfume house (perhaps except by Kilian) has used oud in creative and successful blends.
