Default Ebay Vintage Creed Millesime Imperial

I just scored another vintage bottle of MI on Ebay. I'm getting addicted. I've now bought two bottles, one from 1995 and one from 2002. Very interesting smelling. The 1995 is my favorite: lush melon smell, almost no salt, and good longevity. The 2002 is definably different: the melon is more of a floral, herby melon, but if anything, the 2002 is stronger than the 1995, and seems to last much longer. It has a salty undercurrent, but much less than the current version. And the salty smell seems . . . different somehow. It's more of an organic saltiness, not the pure salty air at the beach smell that I get from the current version. I wish I had a better nose to describe it more precisely.

I see no sign either of these is a fake. Both smell great, but subtly different from each other and from the current version of MI; but they're closer to each other than to the current version. Longevity on both is probably 1/4 more than the current version, too, but that's pretty subjective.

I need to stay away from Ebay!
