Default YSL Jazz Blind Buy: To go for it or not?

I am considering buying a bottle of YSL Jazz since the price point looks great (I'm getting a sizeable discount). I've looked around for samples and testers, but haven't found any. It would be great to know your feedback on this scent.

    scents i don't like/am neutral towards:
Versace Man Eau Fraiche, Le Male by JPG, Dior Homme Sport, Cartier Roadster, Montblanc Starwalker, most of the Lacoste colognes.

    scents i like:
Dolce & Gabbana pour homme, Terre d'Hermes, Dior Homme Intense, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, Polo Green by Ralph Lauren, Declaration by Cartier, Pasha by Cartier, Santos by Cartier, Midnight in Paris by Van Cleef and Arpels.

    Thanks!

I don't think you need it if you have Pasha, unless you want a less focused version with a bit milder fougere accord. Also, I don't know if Jazz was reformulated poorly.

    It's cheap so why not.

Based on the scents you like and don't like, I'm not sure if I would recommend Live Jazz.

Live Jazz consists of grapefruit, lemon, mint and cilantro. You have to like all of these ingredients to appreciate Live Jazz.

You may like this one, but there is no guarentee that you will love this or use this one often. The price is certainly right, so there isn't much risk in just going ahead in buying it.

He's asking about Jazz, not LJ.

Wow. I'm an idiot. Or, at least, I misread.

I think given the fact you can get a 50mL bottle for a pretty great price, I think it's a safe blind buy. It's been a staple of my wardrobe since like a month after it came out.

Go for it - it's darn cheap !

I own two 100 ml bottles of it, but I mostly use it for layering to be honest, as the scent alone from Jazz is not my favorite, but for layering it's ideal.......

People younger than 30 with untrained noses might hate this and think it smells like an old man - now you're warned !

I would not do this. Nothing interesting in this one for me.

Good one, especially good for the price. Wear it several times before you give your final verdict. It's multifaceted. Try it in several different situations.

There is something about cilantro/chilli type notes that I really find almost sickening when in a fragrance, it seems. Apparently, many enjoy this kind of note, though.

I guess it's a bit late but after buying a bottle myself today I wholeheartedly recommend it. Extremely clean and classy to me.
That a fragrance as good as this got superseded by stuff like Cool Water is tragic.
