Thread: I have no idea what to buy
So I literally have one fragrance, Le Male. My ex bought it for me and I use it occasionally, she loves it I don't mind it.
I'm looking for something to wear on a daily basis, mainly to the office and doing every day stuff. I need something for the summer and something that will last the day as I don't like to carry stuff around. Don't want to spend a fortune either.
Any ideas would be great.
My suggestion would be for Caron Troisieme homme. It's a fougere, fresh but with some sweetness (but not as sweet as Le Male). Very long lasting, and good for all occasions. Unfortunately, it is not too easy to find, but if you are in NYC, you should find it easily. Regular price is about $90 for 125ml, but it can often be found for much less.
If you can afford a bigger budget ($215 for 200ml), there's Chanel Sycomore, very fresh, but with some woods and smoke that make it very elegant. It's my go-to for hot DC summers.

Some "safe" scents:
Prada Amber Pour Homme
Yves St Laurent L'Homme
Aqua Fahrenheit by Christian Dior - This is a considerably toned down version of the original, masterpiece Fahrenheit. No negative connotation is implied or should be taken; rather, this is a distinctive composition, somewhat bright and fresh, with ties to the original.
Initially, one is treated to a blast of sparkling grapefruit, with its sour greenness, tempered by a hint of sweetness from the mandarin. This invigorating, citrus melange is drawn to the heart by a nascent mint. Here, in the heart, the cool spearmint comes into its own with its sweet, green facets, and commingles with violet leaf, with its intense freshness and a hint of cucumber. Basil infuses the refreshing blend with a lively dusting of its lemon-like, savory herb. A very faint undercurrent of petro/gasoline can be sensed. Transitioning to the base, a rather ordinary, woods accord presents, and interplays with a light, almost airy, Haitian vetiver as well as a subtle leather. A placid drydown ensues. This high-quality composition is bright and fresh, and should prove to be very versatile. Having average projection and longevity, this scent will, indeed, shine in the spring, summer and fall.
many of the Bulgari scents work well in the office.
Prada Amber Pour Homme
All the above suggestions rock. Write them down and head over to sample them. Try all on paper, pick the 4 stand out ones and try them on skin and leave the dept store. Give it an hour and see which one smells best/ask women what they think, maybe get their number
+1 on Terre DHermes.
Terre D'Hermes is a great all-rounder, as is Eau Sauvage.
Without question, Boss Bottled. It's under $50 for a large 3.4oz bottled and it's wearable in all seasons IMO. I've also received many compliments on this non-offensive fragrance as well.
