Default Longevity issue with The Dreamer

I love the smell but it is one of my shortest-lasting frags. Skin scent after an hour and a half, weak at 4 hours and gone at five and a half. Most other frags project for much longer and stay on my skin for 12+ hours, some over 24 hours. Doesn't project well on clothing either. Anyone else have a similar experience? And does anyone else have a much different experience? If everyone is experiencing the same thing then it has to do with the frag itself, and I will probably give up on it as much as I'd hate to. If some people out there have great projection and longevity then maybe my bottle was just bad/fake and there is still hope for this one.

    I have the current formulation:

I DO NOT have the old one:

The question is for those of you that have the one in the first picture with that box and the white plastic around the nozzle, not the black plastic.

    Thanks in advance!

If it is not staying on your skin for more than 4-5 hours.

    1. you have a fake
    2. your nose has fully adapted to it
    3. your skin is really really unique

My brother also has the same one but he got it somewhere else but I compared the bottles and everything is identical. The sticker on the bottom is in a different color, that's about it. I do smell it on him 5+ hours... Hmmm I think I'm gonna do a little test using both bottles on skin and paper to see what's going on. I really hope my bottle is a fake (how often do you hear that haha) which would indicate that this scent isn't dead to me.

Oh, also how long does yours last and how does it behave on you? And my nose definitely hasn't adapted to it.. After 6 hours I can bury my nose into my skin and wont catch it. Only happens with this and Michael Kors... SUCH a shame for two great frags. Maybe tobacco doesn't stay on my skin? Who knows.

What you should do is spray the Dreamer 15 times before you go to bed.

Wake up and smell heavenly for the whole day.

I think it would be gone by the time I woke up

Didn't want to leave it on my skin long enough after trying it to really know for sure about its longevity.

Yeah the opening is harsh, but the scent gets much better the more that time passes.

My version of versace the dreamer is exactly like the first picture you linked and it seems to last on me for about 8 hours or more.

Same here. The dreamer dreamed away on my skin after only 3 hours. Must be the skin type cause the current fahrenheit last just as long on me as well.

One of my longest lasting fragrances in my collection. 1 spray to the undershirt and 2 to the neck lasts almost 11 hours for me.

Although the The Dreamer may have average projection, its longevity is very good.

I have the current version. I once sprayed a button up shirt I was going to wear with 1 spray of the dreamer and left the room to do something. When I came back a few minutes later the entire room smelled heavily of it. It projects enormously for the first half an hour or so. It has moderate projection for the next couple hours and drops down to more than a skin scent for the remainder of it's time on my skin. I get at LEAST 12 hours with the Dreamer every time I wear it.

On my skin it's strong and has a good lasting power. Perhaps the problem is the way you're applying it.
