Default Dior Homme Sport or Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche?

Returning my Givenchy Play Intense to Sephora and exchanging it for one of these.

    Which one would you choose?

Go for DHS (from the two at least). The Chanel AEB has terrible, terrible longevity. The smell is alright but nothing great either.
    Top 5 (random order):
    1. Creed Aventus
    2. L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme
    3. Le Labo Rose 31
    4. Terre D'Hermes EdT
    5. YSL Rive Gauche

I'd go for Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche

I had some Dior Homme Sport before and I got much more Longevity from Edition Blanche plus the Edition Blanche smells better IMO

Dior Homme Sport, but only if it's the new formulation - orange-ish juice, not light yellow. Otherwise, Edition Blanche. There are rumors that it's being discontinued, so you'll have a collectors item, if nothing else. DH Sport, original formulation, might eventually become collectible. In the meantime, though, it's pretty harsh stuff - generally, not a lot of love for it around here.

Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche. It lasts on me about 6-7 hours, which I find quite acceptable. I love the smell, but I find I have to be in the right mood to wear it.

The Sephora here only has Blanche as a tester. I believe all bottles have been sent back to Chanel. They are both over hyped imo but atleast DHS has decent longevity, i like it better too.

Edition Blanche is being discontinued?! Since when?!

You really have to put your nose to it. We may say Edition Blanche, but what if you'd prefer the Dior? Personally, I can't wear any of the Allure flankers.

If you like both equally, grab the Edition Blanche. It's supposedly being discontinued, which means less odds of hanging around somebody who's wearing it.

Dior Homme Sport 2012 (not the original version).

I once owned Chanel Edition Blanche. I like it....liked the 'creamy vanilla'....but wasn't 'earth shattering' for me.

Liked (didn't love) Dior Homme Sport (old version) but felt there wasn't enough 'balance' beyond the citrus/ginger

The new 2012 version has the iris and (to me) more prominent cedar in the base.

Go for Dior Homme Sport 2012

I get the opposite in terms of longevity. I get 7-10 hours every time with 4-5 hours of solid projection for Edition Blanche. Overall, one of the longest lasting fresh scents I own.

EB would be my recommendation based on scent alone as well between these two. I just sold my DHS as I never wear it.

i have both but for me Chanel - Allure Homme Edition Blanche is better than Dior Homme Sport .

and for my opinon Edition blanche will be number one summer fragrance if it has more projection but it has a good longvity more than 6 hrs .

    go for Edition Blanche Rizzle

I'd buy YSL L'Homme, Gucci Envy, or Carven Homme if I was looking into buying Dior Homme Sport. Edition Blanche does have average projection and longevity, but the creamy lemon opening is awesome.

Lol. I'll be honest, I didn't know about these rumors either.

My personal choice would've been to go with the newly reformulated DHS, but nonetheless a solid choice Blanche, and hopefully, Egoiste.
