Get Shalimar (Parfum)
As much as I enjoy Guerlain fragrances I am finding the projection and longevity anoying, when I spray in the morning I want it to last best part of the day, sadly this is not the case, I now have Habit Rouge EDT and EDP, Heritage EDT and EDP, I get about 3hours before they are gone, I dont think things are going to change, so I am looking for something else that will last ALL day.
I love Habit Rouge and Heritage, anyone know of a fragrance that is similar, I would even try A Guerlain female fragrance, as long as is not to girly, but I must have something that lasts ALL day.
Can someone help???

Or Tonka Impériale.
Personally, I'm more interested in a perfume's scent than its longevity.
Why not buy a small atomiser, fill it with whatever you fancy, and reapply as necessary ?

If you really love Habit Rouge, the Parfum version is the way to go. The price is prohibitive but the smell is divine and worth every penny.
Similar, not really - both are quite unique compositions. Personally I find the ones you mention to last pretty well during the day but everyone's different I guess. Maybe buy Habit Rouge Extrait or get some Shalimar EDP or Extrait.
SDV is one that lasts forever, though not my favourite Guerlain. In fact probably one of my least favourites.
Tiffany for Men might be worth a shot - one of the few out there that can stand beside Habit Rouge or Heritage without embarassment and it has a similar vibe - complex aromatic but with an oriental underscore.
The Private Blends of Tom Ford have very good longevity, but it always depends on skin, maybe yours just eats up scents, no matter what?
No problems whatsoever with projection and longevity of any Guerlain EDT/EDP...!
+1 Tonka Imperiale
Mr. Reasonable- I'm not fond of SDV myself.
For sale. Carnal Flower and Vero Profumo Onda.
I have longevity issues with Heritage as well. Zino Davidoff is similar, but I also get lousy longevity from it.
Habit Rouge EdP, on the other hand, lasts quite nicely on me.
Derby is a good suggestion, but it's triple the price of Heritage and Habit Rouge.
Although HR was actually a stink bomb on me.
I am getting really tired of 3hr fragrances. It might be cheaper to have a cocaine habit !
Yesterday I ordered JAIPUR EDP. I am hoping this satisfies my floriental craving I've been having since Heritage let me down.
Just SAY NO. Don't waste money on cheap crap. I can't wear Vetiver by Guerlain anymore. It has been reformulated to the point that I don't recognize it anymore.
Fatigue might be a part of the problem here too. If you're gonna wear something most days you'll more than likely stop being able to smell it before long. I wear Oud 27 enough for it to be almost undetectable to me at this point... and Oud 27 is certainly not that to a normal nose ;-)
Rather than seeking out longevity beasts, it might be good to rotate a bit more?
Or, if fatigue really isn't the problem (Habit Rouge EDT lasts all day on me, I must say), try experimenting with where you spray the scent -- hair, clothes, armpits could all add some hours to the persistence.
I like Shalimar Initial and it has good longevity, though it might be too feminine for you. I find it less feminine than Shalimar, actually.
Their scents in recent formulations don't last on me either. I haven't tried all, of course, but you don't have to read the entire "Harry Potter" to know it's sh**. I really think it's a matter of reformulations, as the older ones really had some longevity for me. Yeah, try some of the extraits, but prices for this are ridicously high and I really don't know wether a man interested in the Guerlain masculines could pull of something like Shalimar parfum on a regular basis.
My Top Ten:
1: Guerlain - Habit Rouge
2: Guerlain - Jicky
3: Guerlain - Mouchoir de Monsieur
4: Guerlain - Shalimar
5: Knize - Knize Ten
6: Caron - Yatagan
7: Caron - Pour Un Homme
8: Jean Desprez - Bal a Versailles
9: Yves Saint Laurent - M7
10: Salvador Dali - Dali Pour Homme
Mouchoir de Monsieur
Guerlain make some quality fragrances. However, I too experience spotty longevity with many of them. As much as I like LIDGE, it doesn't always last as long as I'd like. Shalimar Parfum Initial is glorious and seems to last quite well but projection is close to the skin after a few hours. But hey, class doesn't have to shout in order to be noticed!
