Wow! Lovely surprise! Must try soonest. Thank You kalli.![]()
Oh yes I will be sniffing this one.
DONNA
I look forward to trying it since Chanel usually does a good job with their "women's" fragrances. I just hope they don't start dumbing them down like they have with their "men's" fragrances.

Especially for a "noir". I find Coco to be kind of sensual and I'd hope a noir to be even more so, but it doesn't seem like that's the idea. I'm still excited to test it.
What an AMAZING looking bottle though. It's one of the most attractive bottles I've ever seen judging by the picture.
The bottle is the most beautiful from the entire chanel range.
Astonishing!
I do hope it's just as nice or somewhat close in person.
White musk? +2 for beggar n darn it! I was well in until that
Somehow, I imagined a Coco with licorice...
+3 white musks. Didn't they appear also in the annoucement for the Heure Bleue anniversary stuff? Depressing.
cacio
I fear it will not be a noir as I'd like....grapefruit and white musk do not inspire... but I will definately sniff.
Yes - it would be so wrong. Especially with a "noir" scent. I was going to say that "noir" would not appeal to the Hello Kitty fruity floral fan. Alas, Hello Kitty Noir just hit the shelves recently, so brace yourselves, people.
Honestly, though, I don't think they'll screw up a Coco. No. Not happening.

Hello Kitty Noir????? I hate that darn cat! Lol.
Ya, grapefruit and musk were the let downs for me, not in a noir, ugh.

Petty small minded people have no place in my life.
Mmm, well, I just called some department stores..one did have samples..but she said they ran out fast and said it's going to be only at the boutiques? We will have to wait and see I suppose.
sadly cross-posting from Today I Bought Thread with apologies to danny1967 .
Virtual tears of disappointment shed over this.

Yup, pink instead of noir? Lots of grapefruit?? Very sad indeed! Very! I had a feeling the only thing 'noir' about this would be the bottle. I'll have see but ya, totally disappointing!
Gosh , I still want it ! I think Jacque Polges loves peachy smells .

Could it possibly be Coco Pink??? LOL oh noooooooo!

I'm sorry to hear this. I would have preferred a quasi-oriental, but I can certainly live with anything predicted to be a big hit, like Bleu de Chanel was.
I feel like a guy who shorted the market in 1929. I know everybody around me is crying over the "M-word", and inside I'm jumping up and down and clearing a spot in the drawer right next to my 5.0-oz. bottle of Bleu de Chanel.
Let's wait for some more reviews to come in. I suspect that there is a valid "noir" accord in this fragrance, and maybe finding that will be enough to redeem it for many folks. Certainly would for me. Bleu's dark notes, buried under the freshness, are what I truly love. If he did that here, I'll be a happy camper.
Maybe there's a shiny black pearl under the pink ribbon. I'm not giving up hope yet.
