    Default Website ADMITS Selling Couterfiets!

I'm just posting this to warn people about them.

There's a company named Beauty & Parfums. Their website is http://www.beauty-parfum.com/.

They sell a bunch of name-brand fragrances, but if you look closely at the bottom of their website, you'll see the following message:

"All items ARE NOT genuine and produced in Europe and UAE by licence."

Seriously, this is one of the most illegal websites I've ever seen. I really hope no one has fallen for this trap!

Also... Did anyone else notice that they misspelled "license"? At least they're being honest about being dishonest.

ALSO... Did anyone else notice that I misspelled "Counterfeits"?

Misspelling is contagious. Wow, I like how they just try to sneak that right at the end there..'all perfumes are not genuine'..now if I wasn't looking at the whole page, I may have put something in my cart and checked out. But wait, the prices..I wouldn't have checked out..prices that low are fakes. Still pretty bad though!

I just thought I'd point out that "licence" is the British spelling so it really isn't a misspelling. Obviously, that doesn't make the website any better, but at least you know.

If they are produced under license (I assume from the original manufacturer), how can they not be genuine? The prices do suggest that they are copies/knockoffs/whatever. I just don't get the license thing.

That is weird, they provide a disclaimer then let the cat out of the bag that their products are illegal copys. What are they hoping to accomplish?

Yeah, I guess they are being only part truthful... Truthful in their statement that they are not genuine and untruthful about the licensing.

Under license simply means they have a contract with a knockoff manufacturer to sell those products. This is really no different than the sites selling bogus Rolex watches. Eventually the real companies get them shut down.

At least they are honest, not like those ebay power sellers that buy them and start an auction at 49usd.

I just reported them to Chanel. I'll let Chanel handle this because I'm sure they won't appreciate anyone giving them a bad name

I suspect what they meant to claim is that their items either "are genuine", or "are not fake", but got confused

I think this explains all the batch variation complaints by base noters. Many of you are buying from sources like this one and wondering why it's so different than the juice you smelled at Neiman Marcus counter.

That site looks like it's just a wordpress template whipped together in a matter of minutes. Definitely shady, though I suspect "not genuine" is just a typo or a language barrier issue.

I couldn't help it- I just sent them a message asking if they really meant to say their items were faked. I'll post their response, if there is one.

Poor things might be probably perfectly legit and just got a bad translator program. It would cost a fortune to fake that lot.... wouldn't it?????

I'd be tempted to buy one for comparison, except that Ukraine + Credit Card Number = T.R.O.U.B.L.E. Neh-vah!

    +1 on the British spelling.

Thanks for the heads-up. At least it's a disclaimer.

As I promised... I contacted Chanel and informed them about this website selling knock-offs of their fragrances. I quickly received a response from Chanel. This is what they said:

"Thank you for your e-mail regarding your concern over the sale of
counterfeit merchandise at Beauty-Parfum.com. We appreciate the time you
have taken to bring this matter to our attention. You can be assured
that your letter will be forwarded to the appropriate person for review."

Man, I love their customer service!

HAHAHA!!! The "For Women" must be a flanker of the original Pour Homme. Maybe they took a cologne that was meant to attract women, then they infused it with pheromones that are meant to attract men

Actually, 'licence' is a noun whereas 'license' is a verb.
