Is my creed aventus authentic?

Just purchased this from ebay...

hence my concerns.

seller assured me of authenticity.

they have 129 feedback, all positive, including selling various beauty products.



I paid £100, and so saved myself about 35-40pc off retail

its a good deal, but not one of those that instantly makes you think fake.

received it today, it smells good so far and exactly like my official creed sample. however, I am aware of fakes and thought i'd ask here before i start using it and lose any chance of a refund.

I received my bottle today in the UK. Wife loves it, I love it.

I've examined my box and bottle. Four things that come out that are different apart from the fact mine is a 120ml (4oz) bottle:

1. I agree with heperd, the lines on the horse are not right. The very back of the man's cloak has a black line running down the edge, unless its rubbed off i dont see that in the pictures, especially on the box shown
2. the back of the box shows the silver trim around the embossing is way off centre.
3. The "CREED" writing on mine has bold black over the embossed glass, again it might have rubbed off on yours.
4. The lot number is very faintly lasered on to the bottom back of the bottle, mine doesnt say "LOT" before it either.

It might be mine is new and they might have a newer design. p.s, for those interested my batch number: A42B12E01

it's an interesting point, there's nothing out there that i've seen that you can confirm/check against for fakes. I know mine isnt fake, i bought it from a reputable dealer, but the OP bought his from ebay.

Apart from us, what else can you use to check against?

The only real way to check if it's fake is to go to a 100% authorized seller (Neiman Marcus,Saks (Maybe???) Creed Boutique) and do a side by side comparison.

I have the exact same batch and it is blended perfectly man. You get the sweetness of the pineapple and you get the smokiness as well. Think of a grilled pineapple. This is some amazing juice. Hopefully whenever I run out of my current batch they will have some of this batch left. This was my induction with Aventus and this is the only batch I want. Longevity is 12+ hours, and projection and sillage are great as well. I was walking in the mall once and this female behind me said "You smell very good, I smell your scent trail as you walk."

Hmmmm I only have a 1.7oz of this batch I may want to look into getting a re-up now of this batch.

I have the Z01 batch number but its not on the bottom. Its on the back of the bottle on the very bottom.

Has anyone heard of a legit Aventus box with different than normal grammar/spelling? I ordered a bottle from a highly rated 3rd party retailer on Amazon... The box is different than any pictures I've seen. The front logo/text is missing some stuff and there appears to be spelling errors on the back. It also did not come with the little history pamphlet at all. I immediately thought fake and contacted the seller. Got a response saying they order their fragrances from other places like the middle east (which I guess they think explains a different box?) and that all their fragrances are authentic.

I tried two sprays for the hell of it, got compliments from three girls at work and then my brother asked me if I was wearing cologne about twelve hours later. Batch number on bottle matches a barcode sticker on the box (A42B13R01).
