Default Prada amber pour homme intense question

I have several fragrances that to my untrained nose smell somewhat similar to this. My question is if it is a different enough fragrance from the ones I already have that it would be a good addition because I do like it a lot.

    Dolce and Gabanna the one
    Ysl La nuit de l'homme
    Pure malt
    Bentley intense
    Carolina Herrera CH men

    Thanks

Because you really like it, if the price agrees with you, jump on it.

Prada Amber pour homme is a solid fragrance, and out of the ones you mentioned it smells nothing like those - except for Bentley intense I cannot say since I have never tried this. Others will chime in.

Smells nothing like the one's you have listed. Very good fragrance though.

In my opinion, both a fragrance good enough to be recommendable and also different from the others enough to justify owning it.

Yup. It is very different from those and I happen to think it's excellent.

    This!
    My all time favorite:

    Dior Fahrenheit

Good one. Closest match is Tom Ford Noir, IMO.

Pretty much this. Since that's not on your list you're good to go. It's a great fragrance, pick it up while you can

Its a Myrrh dominated scent and very niche quality IMO.

    A wonderful fragrance.

Certainly different from the top 3 on your list (being the ones listed that I have experience of).

    Killer fragrance

About as far removed from the snoozefest that is 'The One' as you can get

Utterly beautiful fragrance, especially in colder weather. Quite similar to Tom Ford Noir, but not really any of those others listed.

Those two definitely do seem to start in a similar way before heading off in very different directions. I own PAPHI, but I'm starting to wonder if I'd have been better off buying TF Noir.

Oh why? Do you think TF Noir is ultimately better?

I don't believe in the idea of "better." I mean, it's perfume. Smell 'em both & the one that you like more smells better to you, but that doesn't mean it's universally better. Something about TF Noir appeals to me a bit more than PAPHI, though I haven't figured out exactly why. I think I may prefer PAPHI's opening, but also TF Noir EDP's drydown. So, if judged when sprayed, I'd pick PAPHI. But if judged after a few hours, I think I'd pick TF Noir. I think...? Really, they're both excellent.

I also think a lot of people will be fooled by these two. It amazes me how many people only pay attention to top notes. I see this with Gph II and Hanae Mori HiM all the time. People think they're the same because they open similarly - but the two scents head off in completely different directions and they smell completely different after an hour or two.
