Default Signature Scents for Younger Guys that Evoke the Color Gray

Some people may disagree but I think that fragrances can remind one of a color in their drydown.
For example, Bvlgari Pour Homme, although having a variety of notes and development through the scent gives me an overall impression of light gray--maybe due to the light musky drydown and the softness of the tea.

I think that Bvlgari Pour Homme is a pretty nice scent and I want to know more like it--neutral smelling colognes that a young guy (22) could wear as his signature scent.

    cheers

Not sure if this scent is for younger or older people in particular (I'm 26.) Depends on your definition of young I guess and what you'd consider a younger scent.

Not my favorite of the line (still pretty good), but Slumberhouse Grev definitely evokes a lighter shade of grey.

Also Narciso Rodriguez for men, slightly darker grey, more fluide, and probably more "youthful". But honestly, expand your horizons, age and "sophisticated taste" shouldn't be mutually exclusive.

Absolutely agree that Narcisco Rodriguez for Him falls into the grey category. More of a light to medium grey where as Grey Flannel, is a more darker grey.

Armani Prive Bois d'Encens feels like medium-grey cashmere to me.

It wears lightly; the women in my life respond very positively to it; and it would make a beautiful signature once the cool weather rolls in.

Agree on Greyland and I'll add Gucci Rush For Men, Comme Des Garcons for H&M and Standard. All of these fragrances are driven by a nice synthetic cedarwood base with incensey undertones that definitely conjure "greyness".

Ralph Lauren Purple Label is also a bit like Bulgari as I recall, and maybe even their Safari, though I think that has more "tan" warm tones. It's been a while since I've sampled either though. The original Armani PH is also fairly staid and neutral, though much soapier. If you don't mind a tinge of green in your gray, maybe Monsieur de Givenchy. I also find l'Eau d'Issey to be the grayest of the aquatics. I agree with Grey Vetiver and Narciso Rodriguez, though NR has a tinge of lavender or light purple to me.

+1 on this. Oh, maybe I was also swayed by the grey bottle, but hey. Reviews say there's a note there that evokes wet concrete but haven't caught it yet, it's a relative newcomer to my collection. Try it.

    Noble Vetiver
    NR for Him
    Iris Pallida
    Romance Silver (gray/purple)
Armand Basi PH (white + black - I perceive them both simultaneously you may perceive it as gray. Also, shades of lilac in there)
