Default Burberry London vs Limited Edition (London)

I took in a whiff of BB London today, and decided it was time for my bank account to take another hit.
Question is, is there a difference between the limited edition bottle, and the original?
Both have the same notes listed. Is it just the design of the bottle?
Here is the link to the 2 bottles on fragrancenet

Also, is this specific fragrance counterfeited a lot? Fragrancenet takes 2 weeks to ship to me, so I'm wondering if I should just purchase it off of eBay for around $5 less, or just save myself the trouble and wait the two weeks.

Think it's just a difference in bottle design but could be wrong.

I thought so as well. I just watched Marc's youtube review and apparently the "special edition" is a toned down bottle. I did notice there are a few different bottles; original, special, limited...jeez Burberry, why?
I'll go with the original, just to be safe.

The 08 edition is without a tobacco note and the 09 version has citrus in it. They are not the same frags.

Thank you Odorloader, I figured there was a difference. Which is which, though? Assuming the 09 is the limited edition?

The 2 i mentioned are the limited editions not including the original. I thought i might have seen another last winter at Sears but i could be wrong. The 3 i know of are listed at fragrantica here. http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/B...2009-6911.html

Ah, that makes sense. The two on fragrancenet are the ones in the first and last link.
I'll have to go with the original.

What he says ^^^. Be careful as the bottles are verrrry similar. The 08 is dark brown. The 09 is dark brown/charcoal.

Thanks for the heads up neal. I'm heading down to JCP in a bit to smell them both. I'm almost certain the original (brown, red, etc.) is the one I will end up going with.

Both are different in some sense...Ltd. Ed has stronger Cinnamon and lesser Tobacco..but it is as good as the original...I find it a bit smoother than the original..very comforting and soft...masterpiece
