Default Black Aoud...Red Aoud...Dior Leather Oud

Black Aoud - reviewed ofter...opens with medicinal note...transforms into big beautiful rose.

Red Aoud - wearing a dabber of it on one hand. I am not getting the medicinal opening like black aoud. After drydown it become very creamy. Def gourmandish, maybe cookie..may lipstick. Some floral but cant put my hand on it. Dont know if I love it today.

Dior Leather Oud - I do not like the initial blast at all. Smell like a cat pi$$ed on your brand new leather jacket. After 10-15 mins i smell nothing but leather. This is a rather strong fragrance, potent. I dont get a huge sillage cloud but a piercing scent of leather. I would say its def a winter fragrance to be worn outside. If you start heating up this could become stank really fast.

The winner is Black Aoud (Again). Smell and versatility make this the best choice (IMO). The can be worn during the day or at night all year round.

I love Leather Oud for it's dark smoky muskyness though its not good in the heat, don't care for others. Dark Aoud is my favorite from montale.

I have the 3 and love them. My favorite would be Red Aoud, very elegant and chic.

    Black Aoud.

Red Aoud has its uses too as it's quite special with that gourmandish touch.

I took a 180° on Black Aoud recently and really enjoy it. But Leather Oud is the one to go with here. Red Aoud is great in the winter.

I just can't jump on the black aoud wagon. Leather and red are nice though.

Double yes on Black oud, When I think of the word perfume (as in fragrance) Black oud represents that. And Leather oud is also my favorite, but like Jack Hunter said: Never in the heat! or people might think you are sleeping with your horse. Or maybe just one little spray.
    Red oud I don't get there's something juicy that I don't like.

It's so strange.... for me rose is so inevitably intertwined with the image of my grandmother and women of her era. For that reason, although I can appreciate the beauty of a rose scent, it's impossible for me to enjoy wearing a rose scent. It just smells like old lady to me, no matter what notes you pair/mask it with... and I just don't want to smell like that. So two thumbs down for Rose Aoud for me.
