Only correct answer: both
Thread: Ysl m7 or dior homme intense
IM stuck i went to a fragrance store an smelt both had them both sprayed on each wrist went to see how they develop i will eventually buy both. i just started collecting. going for a date/romance kind of fragrance what would you guys pick or is there any suggestions that you have
Dior Homme Intense, if I had to choose only one. Don't like that cough syrupy vine I get in M7. Though I do appreciate the M7 Oud Absolu flanker more than the original.
Dior Homme Intense.
I like M7, but I wouldn't really consider it a great romantic date night fragrance.
Both are really good but not for everyone. M7 is better imo.
DHI for dating/romantic scent IMO.
For a date or romance, DHI is pretty awesome.
They are both worlds apart. M7 is not a 'going out' scent, at least for me. DHI is an excellent going out fragrance and it can be worn throughout the day.
Dior Homme Intense
Both, but I will say that M7 is also good as a date fragrance. This from the female perspective
M7 wins by a landslide.
DHI: I strongly suspect this was originally created as a female scent but then they decided to market it towards men at the last minute. Why? Because Women generally don't wish to smell like a sickly, synthetic, cheap, cloying, ugly mess.
Ignore the hype and avoid DHI like the plague.
Gotta go with the gorgeous Dior Homme Intense for its smooth sexy vanille and coco combo.
DHI is a quite a perfect 'romantic date' scent. Otherwise M7 is better..!
DHI is my preference, but both are good scents, irrespective if simply in general and/or more specifically for dating.
Dior Homme Intense is better
M7 by far.
Want to trade - Chanel Platinum Egoiste for Dior Eau Sauvage...
Hard to choose from those two; i like both but if i had to, i'd take DHI because DHI's current formulation is better than M7's current.
(If choices were M7 original vs. DHI any formulation then i'd take M7).
"Le parfum est la musique du corps"
Wore M7 tonight for the first time in a while, it really is damn good! It simply outclasses the scrubber DHI which is a lousy, sickly synthetic mess. Perhaps it would be ok as a floor cleaner though.
I don't think either would be top choices for a date night.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
Absolutely, Akahina. M7 is a totally inoffensive and very safe scent for any occasion. Up there with the very best of designer frags.
I disagree on the inoffensive side of M7. A lot of smack is talked bout how DHI smells like lipstick, but M7 is cherry cough syrup basically
DHI, eight days a week.
I really like both and M7 is more unique but you will definitely get better feedback with DHI. It is also much more date/romance scent than M7.

Bulgari pour Homme Soir by Bulgari - An initial burst of refreshing bergamot, halfway between a lemon and an orange, with its tart and juicy green and very faint mint-like aspects, professes the clean and fresh opening. The darjeeling tea beckons the invigorating bergamot to stew in the heart, and infuses it with its somewhat powdery and medicinal woodiness morphing the sharp citrus into a more fruity bent. Guaiacwood, with its honey and smoky features, and papyrus, with its withered grassy and light wood facets, serve as a background for the simmering brew, which has acquired a sweet and wet earthiness. The waiting base, with its soft and almost syrupy amber as well as its radiant and slightly soapy musk, tugs for recognition and carries the tea blend to its delightful drydown. This classy fragrance can be an all-season treat, and has average projection, becoming a skin scent, and good longevity.
M7 or both if they are vintage.
