Which one would you pick? Which one disappears the fastest on you?
Personally, I'd have to say Guerlain's Eau de Cologne Impériale, which is certainly incredibly beautiful - and literally gone in a flash. Another strong contender would be Eau d'Orange Verte, which lasts only slightly longer. Another Hermès, Brin de Réglisse, flies away very very fast, too, although the drydown does stick around significantly longer than Guerlain's ephemeral imperial water, at least on me... The same thing goes for Chanel's amazing Eau de Cologne from the Exclusifs range - and their Pour Monsieur certainly doesn't outstay its welcome in any way, either.
I'm curious about your opinions. Of course it goes with the traditional citrus-dominant cologne style that it tends to evaporate almost immediately (and don't get me wrong - that is part of its charm!) - but which one runs away the fastest of all?

- Don Algodon Cool for men: A Spanish cheapie that lasts well for 1 hour only and smells like Cool Water was made out of 2 ingredients; very fresh though! The bottle says it's an edt!
- Agua Lavanda: High quality lavander splash on that lasts for 1 hour (could easily be layered with Caron PuH) It's not an edt though.
My Top '10' : (In no particular order)
- Dolce & Gabbana: Pour Homme (vintage)
- Van Cleef & Arpels: Pour Homme
- Armani: Acqua di Gio Profumo
- Davidoff: Leather Blend Edp
- Ferrari: Essence Oud Edp
- Chanel: Platinum Egoiste
- YSL: Kouros (Fraîcheur)
- Dior: Fahrenheit (Aqua)
- Mancera: Cedrat Boise
- Knize Ten
You almost need to spray it right into your nose, or you might miss the whole show...
The term Happy Hour does not apply to this - it is giving it a little too much credit.

Well if we're going traditional colognes, I say either Mr Taylors by TOBS or 4711. I get a good 15-20 minutes out of 4711, but have to really go hard with the application. Mr Taylors disappears almost immediately for me. I actually get decent longevity out of d'Orange Verte.
As so many people have taken 'cologne' to mean 'mens fragrance' I'll add CK Free to the mix. That stuff is very fleeting.
For me the winner for the shortest longevity goes to Creeds Neroli Sauvage. I got two samples from two different places as I thought the first time I tried it there must have been something wrong with the sample. But no both samples lasted 20 minutes and it was gone. Beat that.Hah
For me it's Creed's Erolfa.....Seems like it's gone in a minute!!!
+1 for The One
I recently bought a bottle of Photo by Lagerfeld. I like the smell but hardly stays not even an hour.. frustrated as hell!!
Has anyone noticed varied longevity from the same bottle? Sometimes it seems the difference can be as much as three to four hours. Maybe it's just my perception. Any thoughts?
The shortest one I've found is Eau de Cartier Essence de Boise. It lasts 30 to 60 minutes and then it's simply gone.
Without a doubt, D&G's, The One. Spray it, blink twice, where did it go?
Eau d'Orange Verte is the most fleeting scent scent I've come across. I literally think it lasted 10 minutes on me.
+1 for The One. Shame as I love what is happening for the brief minute or two I can smell it.
Banana Republic Classic
The Dreamer from Versace: what does this scent have that is so alluring and enticing towards the opposite sex ?
Fourth place goes to The One and Bleu de Chanel
Thrird place is for Eau de Orange Verte.
Second place is for Light Blue by D&G.
Eau de Cartier isn't able even to create a memory in my mind.

This lasts about 30 minutes, it's a pity because the opening blast of grapefruit is quite nice and then the whole show is over and you're left with nothing, for the price I would have expected more:
Chanel's Eau De Cologne is surely one of the most fleeting around....

Gendarme disappears somewhere between the nozzle and my skin.
+1 to 4711. I get less than an hour out of it. Smells good for that time though.

4. Febreze Pour Homme

Agua Lavanda and Eau de Cologne Imperiale are both quite fleeting, but Trumper's Extract of West Indian Limes lasts only few minutes, and so is more fleeting still.
Comme des Garcons Ouarzazate...I love the stuff, it's awesome, but it goes so fast...makes me sad.
wasted my money on this one Chevignon - forever Mine
I sprayed on me like 5 times and 5 minutes later when I left my house going to work it was gone
