L'eau D'Issey & if I'm heavy on the trigger w/ Chrome are big headache inducers.

I mentioned in another thread yesterday that I've been craving Curve again. I went to Marshall's to see if they still had that gift set left (2.5oz bottle, deoderant, & skin soother for $16.99). Sure enough, they had it & I immediately snatched it up. I put on 3 sprays immediately when I got to the car. At first I was comforted by the familiar scent...but not even 10 minutes later I couldn't scrub it off fast enough. I seriously thought I was going to pass out. I now remember why I gave this one away a year ago. I will still recommended it to people I think it would work on, but apparently my nose has changed A LOT.

I'm curious which frags really lead to a feeling that a migraine is going to occur if you can't get away from it quickly. I dislike some frags because they are nauseating (I'm sure you can guess at least one), but then there are frags like Bogart Pour Homme. I like the notes, but the juice is so strong I've got to get away from it quickly. I've tried using tiny dabs of it, but it's still too strong! What frags have this effect on you?

Vam Cleef & Arpels PH. Gave myself a blast after not having touched a bottle for a while. God save us.

Hmm.. The only fragrance I've ever had any headache
problem with is CdG 2, I don't know why but the harsh
opening note of ink just gave me the worst headache
also metallic notes sometimes give me headaches

Kenneth Cole Black. Not really sure why, but there's something in it that gives me the feeling that I'll get a headache if I'm around it too long. It's way too strong on me, even with one spray.

Kenneth Cole Black for her (you reminded me, or I would have left this one out), Cashmere Mist, Euphoria, Axe (don't care which - they probably won't ALL give me a migraine, but they're vile anyway), and the worst two offenders: D&G Light Blue for her and DKNY Be Delicious (for her) - those are sheer HELL.
There are more, of course, but I usually didn't stay in the room long enough to enquire what people were wearing. Aggressive fruity-melon notes combined with cedar seem to be worst, for me.
It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely products of a deranged imagination.

Good timing. I bought Guerlain's L'Instant EdP blind; I was certain I would enjoy it. However, it has something in there that gives me a blinding headache within 15 minutes. It really does nauseate me and I'm curious why.

I also get a headache from CdG 2.

TdH with anything more than about 1 spray will give me a headache by the midnotes.

Fleur Du Male and Paco Rabanne Black XS both induce headaches with me.

The Lavender assault in the opening of Caron's Pour Un Homme gives me a headache too.

A*Men makes me feel slightly nauseous and then rueful that I ever went within six feet of it.

The only fragrance to affect me physically is probably Citron Citron by Miller Harris. It gnaws away at my brain stem for hours. I feel dreadful being anywhere near it.

My mother wore a fragrance called L’Aimant. In my teen years, it induced awful headaches in me and gave me a bad impression of fragrance in general.

Most unfortunately, Penhaligon's Elixir (enjoy it jrd4t--I miss it already!)

Anything with high doses of IsoE or other irritating aromachemicals, including but not limited to:

    Escentric Molecule 01
Ormonde Jayne (most of their offereings)
    Avon (all I have tried)
    Tauer (all I have tried)
    Terre d'Hermes
    Hermes Vetiver Tonka

And, if i am not careful, two of my favoirites, Kenzo Amour and Shiseido Feminite du Bois.

When I first read the title, I thought you wanted to know what I wear when I am feeling heachy and a bit nauseated--in those cases, I either wear nothing, or I go for a very light citrus-based cologne.
